That seems to be how it is.
We've seen cost cutting (cheaper hosting, CSR team drop, Cho shutdown & whatever else) but we havn't seen any real improvment in the situation.

About the lack of live events... you all can blame yourselves for getting rid of those who had more grasp on the lore after they dropped Jolt.
The world runs on money, if they are not making a profit how can you expect them to pay to keep running ryzom and get more coders and QA to test to ensure patches dont break the game.
Some of you are saying it only takes 2 coders to code and update the game, well first of all understand the work force in France. They only work so many hours a week and are given plenty of hols time. This is law in france. Plus, they have many hols throughout the year. Oh and it does take more than just two people to code and test. The current team, I'm sure, is trying their hardest to keep ryzom going and trying to get updates. But unless any of you have a couple million dollars to invest for a bigger workforce (and not pledged money) then please, donate it for a bigger workforce for Ryzom.
I'm tired of seeing you guys sit here and complain about the game that many of you ruined yourselves. At least Gameforge kept Ryzom running.

Bad attitudes, constant bickering, immaturity, etc...

Not going to argue with what you wrote (edit: cause i agree); but its not what "This" thread is about; sorry if you missed all the times i asked for Gameforge to communicate their vision and development plans and lets us know if there is or isnt a future fro Ryzom.
On a side not; I pray that GF doesnt have some screwed up idea that if they start a 3D MMO themselves, that by letting Ryzom die we will all just hop on accross to it.....
