That's my job :P

At least you noticed I didn't say it... I could only see the perspective.

just think if all the people who got the game free ,had paid their 50 bucks, maybe nervax wouldn't have gone belly up... again I LOVE THE GAME AND HAVE SUPPORTED IT FROM BETA TIL NOW and on in to the future.my first post was done in jest to lampoon management's fiscal failure... not to berate the game in anyway.when i purchesd this game there were promises of 8 years of evolution....offspring..... rites... and also the "kittiin raid engine"... well 2 and a half years later we've had 2 kittin raids, xp nerfs to drive the population away, rites removed instead of being added... the list could go on but i've said my piece and i can live with it :)

lol Dollydagger, I just read your first post in this thread. You don't mince your words, do you ? :D

Farewell Nevrax, and thanks to you you and the testers for giving us something that inspired many of us, or we all would not be reading this now, two years later. Here's hoping that more of the original vision will still play out. ;) I'm going nowhere else, because I don't want anywhere else, and I'll keep trying to poke Ryzom into the place I'd like it to be.

Going to miss you Nevrax. Sorry you were aufed, but someone had to leave the island.

Still, now you can get on with your life (unless you were picked up by the new regime, in which case you can have a long weekend, then it's back to the coding saltmines on Tuesday).

Maybe the business didn't go well, but the dream worked out. Someday when someone will write a history of virtual communities, Nevrax will have their place. And sometimes that's better than the successful business.
