I wasn't going to state it, but if you insist, it is Anarchy Online. You can download the client directly from Funcom and play the classic game sans expansions for free. That is 200 levels of possible game play.johntf wrote:Go on then what game.
I'm not stating that they shouldn't have capped it, or restricted it in some way or another, but as it sits, 21 doesn't give much of a feel for the game, maybe the blame there could be laid on the massive amounts of XP from the tutorial missions, am unsure.johntf wrote:
I'm happy to see an incraese in the paying population yes, look no offense but I'm a pretty nice guy ingame and I go out of my way to help those, but only those prepared to help themselves. Still I fail to see how lowering the level cap really kills the game that much, the only people who've really moaned so far are ones who haven't paid at all. You can call me a troll if you want or say I'm mean but I'm just being honest right, anyone who can't get a feel for the gameplay in a possible 84 levels and wont pay a few pounds/dollars/euros to check it out well tough.
As above, maybe the solution to both parts would be to remove the massive XP reward from the tutorial missions. That would solve both the issue of the cap being reach too soon, and make it more representative of what players could expect from mainland missions.johntf wrote:Not to mention the island isn't really representative of the mainland anyway.
As I have previously stated in other posts, I am well aware of the one option open to me, and I won't take it, at least not on a month to month basis. if it was offered for 3/6/12 months I would gladly go that route.johntf wrote:And as already stated there's other ways than credit card to pay, I was just using it as a figure of speech and if people can't find 10 pound etc to test a game for a month then really you shouldn't be there in the first place.
If by approval you mean get a bank account and ask for one, then yes. Sorry but unless the US has made some very major changes in how they work, getting a debit card isn't a hard thing.kattan wrote:Is the same problem at least for me, still have to have approval for a debit card, and am unlikely to get that.

See my edit.kattan wrote:Where in my post did I ever state that I was from the U.S. You shouldn't assume things.

if you buy from the box you get a full month, i paid like £2.50 for the boxed game ages ago, and i got a month in with that.johntf wrote:Ah I see, was sure someone was talking about getting it in universe the other day. My mistake still they get a month to try for what a few quid its not the biggest loss, I spend more at macdonalds for a snack.
Well yes i did insist and wow AO you can play a game for free thats as old as the hills not to mention how many froobs pay ? Not to mention I tried it found it dated and boring the community full of the kind of people a totally free trial attracts.kattan wrote:I wasn't going to state it, but if you insist, it is Anarchy Online. I already stated on another post that perhaps a slightly higher cap or a time restriction activaited after a certain level might work, but then again lets look at it this way :

Your confusing me here, your saying you refuse to pay for one month to test the game ? you'd rather pay for 3/4/12 months in one go and risk not liking the game ???[/quote]
