Is this the end ?

Late that night I walked back to the hotsrpings to clear my head. The springs were amazing, it was a in a forested area filled with flowers and bushes of all kinds. The spring it self had a waterfall that porwed into it. I undid my robe and stepped into the warm almost hot waters.

I rested my head on a rock when a saw an amber burning cup and and next to it was a chested filled with insent stick. When I open it a explosion of sents filled my nose. I chough as my tears filled my eye's. I pulled out a LakeLand Berry stick and placed in deep into the sands, if a little flick of a light spell the stick light and I closed the chest.

I took off my goggle and bandana and took a deep breath. I then dived into the deep area under the fall. I thought I heard someone enter the area but I didn't mind, I was so relaxed.

"Hey you ok?" A voice asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said as I amerged hair coving my eyes.

"Ok, you had me worry, hehe here." The voice laughed as two hands pushed my hair back. It was Jen'Moda.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her with a warm smile.

"Well I need to relax, Red's worried isn't he?" She asked me as she looked away.

"He's fine it's just he afraid and he's not sure he can protect us." I said with a warm smile as I sat under the falls.

"Aren't you scared?" Jen'Moda asked.

"Yes, I very scared, but if I die I die with honor. You see I was an outlaw as a kid, Aqua was gone, no family, until I met a Silt. She looked a me and saw a great destiny. She asked me if I wanted to join the Silt since I had no home. No where else to go I agreed and went with her. There I learned about my sister and magic. I found a home and well the rest is history." I told Jen'Moda.

"I see, you have all you could ever want, so death doesn't bother you." Jen'Moda said with smile.

"Ever snice I was little I wanted to have great friend and a grand family, now I have one, thank you!" She cried as she jumped onto me and hugged me.

For a second this didn't seem right, I wasn't this girls family, I was just a friend, but it I felt that I that to hug her back. I did and I felt as if I was hugging my own child, then I relized I was. She was a guardian and so was I was one as well. I came so close to crying, I only felt this way when I hugged Aqua after all those years.

"Windra, what's that sent?" I heard Red ask as he entered the area.

"Red?!" I said as I relized Jen'Moda was still hugging me, in fact the warm spring was putting her to sleep.

"Windra what are you doing?" Red asked as he saw ne holding Je'Moda under the falls.

"Be'Cona." I wispered.

"Be'Coan appeared next to me.

"She's alseep, we were chating our about what made us happy and..." I told him but he cut me off by smiling.

"I know, I'll put her to bed, thank you." Be'Coan said as he took her clothes from the rock she placed them on and took her into his arms, he then vanished.

"Wow this is nice, so what was that hugging about?" Red said as he rested his back against the rocks.

"I told why I'm not afraid to fall in battle where we can be returned to his releam. The she told me she was so happy that we were her family, then she just fell asleep." I explained to Red as I rested my back against the falls.

"Ah, they what's the berry sent?" Red asked as he look around for the source.

"LakeLand Berry insent, it's behind you and there's a schest with other sents, but hold your nose when you open it." I snickered.

"Ah, I'm sorry if I sound so scared in the garden, I'm just afraid I won't be any help." Rec says as he gazes at the stars above us.

"Red this has to end, we're all afraid, but if we do fall then we fall with great honor, besides we can't fight the darkness yet, two guardians haven't awaked. I explained to Red with a smile.

"He's right Red, besides you're a great fighter and leader." Aqua and Le'Conda said as they appear from a wave of water.

"Holy!" I yelled.

Red jumped back.

"See I told you it would work." Aqua laughed.

"How the?" Red asked at a lost of breath.

"Water magic." I said.

"Yup." Aqua and Le'Conda laughed.

Then a fountain of water sprayed Aqua in the face.

"Oppps, Wind magic is so hard to control." I said with grin from ear to ear.

"Windra." Aqua said angerly, then we started attacking each other with water attacks.

"Anyway Red, I think you should go see Bane and Drakfot, we'll do with you. Hey Jen'Moda is going for a day to check in on her dad." Le'Conda said after she swam over to him.

"Yeah I think I'll go with Jen'Moda, you guys should come too." Red said with a smile.

"Loved to." Le'Conda said with a smile.

"We're in too." Aqua and I said as we stopped the duel.

"Thank you." Red smiled.

"No problem, wait till they see La'Beka and the others." Le'Cona smiled as he laid her back against the rock.

"They were are they anyway." I asked as I look around.

"Last time I check they were in the garden." Red replied.

"Ah." I said.

We then just relaxed as the smell of LakeLand berries filled the springs.

after awhile in the hotsprings we all goto bed .... in the morning I woke up early no one was up yet ... so I walked to the garden... I saw Syno there by the fountain ... he seemed to spend alot of time by it ... I walk up next to him ...

"Do you think it is safe for us te leave here now? to go see Jen's dad? I ask him.

"There is no telling what the dark ones will do Red" he says staring at the fountain.

"hmmm has Tin-si gone to my mom and Drakfot yet?" I ask

"He should be going today" He says.

"Ah ok ..." I say as I stare at the fountain.

A few minutes pass in complete silence ...only the sound of the running water.

"Red ... I must go now ... but Le'Cusï will be here in a few moment please wait for him" Syno says as he starts to walk away.

"Uhh ok" I say confused and wondering what Le'Cusï was going to tell me.

About 10 minutes later Le'Cusï apears next to me... I look at him..for some reason it didn't really suprize me ...

"Greetings Red" Le'Cusï says as he turns and faces me.

"hello" I say looking at him.

"Red ... Its time I teach you some of what you can do." He says still looking at me.

"huh? What will you teach me?"I say suprized.

"First you pike ... you may summon it at anytime" he says . "Focus"

I try to focus he explanes to me as I do ... then suddenly ... A pike apears in my hands ... the blade was curved like an S almost ( ~ ) and came to a sharp point.. the shaft and handle had roots carved into them and the blade glowed with a dim yellow color ... the blade itself was white and the shaft of it was black with yellow roots.

"Practice this for a bit" Le'Cusï says to me.

I do for awhile then he says"Now you will learn to focus magic into your blade...your blade will be surrounded by the type of magic you use.. with your pike and sword...All you must do is focus the same way you would to cast but focus on the blade of your weapon"..

"I did it once durring the battle I made my sword into flame but I didn't really know how"

I try this a few times before I get it to work ... as it does I focus electric into the attack ... and I launch a blast from the blade... "Fire will be your strongest Red" he says... As I keep trying to perfect this ... Then Windra walks in ... "Ahh good you are here Windra" Le'Cusï says as he turns to face him ...

"Windra you will learn to focus magic into a blade aswell... When you both master this you will also be able to focus your magic into your fist incase you become disarmed durring a fight....Only you two can truely master this skill" he explanes ...

"Ok" We both say as we start to train together to master this new skill........

Windra summon your pike, this is a very important lesseon." Le'Cusï said. I did as he asked,

"If I may, what do you want me to do, I mean my pike is already pure wind." I asked still confused on what we here doing.

"This is different, you need to learn how to summon a element into the weapon, now focus on an element two two." Le'Cusï told us.

I set my mind of ice, a easy spell or so I thought. My pike became that of a snow storm. The blade had ice crystals dancing in the wind, yet for some reason I couldn't control it so I slammed it into the ground, which froze around it. Red did electric again.

"I can't control my own weapn, why?" I asked as I sent the pike away.

"You two have one of the hardest elements to control, Windra what ever element you choose will join with the wind in the pike, so you must be careful." He explained to me.

I tried again, with the same spell, this time it worked, so I tried the Windmill swing at an open area of the garden. When my pike hit the ground hit the ground the ground crack and shattered as the ice wave traveled as speed no one could dodge.

Red slammed his sword into the ground and it did the same thing but instead of a ground cracking, it was just burned.

"Good." Le'Cusï said as he exaimed the damage,

"There's so much power in these weapons, I've never release such an attack so easly." I said as I tried to catch my breath.

"Hehe, you have yet to see their true power, you see you have yet to yet to see you're true weapons." Le'Cusï said with a slight laugh.

Red looked at me, I just shook my head then I remember the scroll.

"The Atys Blade." I said.

"I see you went through the weapons scroll, yes, The Fighter Guardian is the wielder of the legendary Atys bBlade." He told us as he walked back to where he once stood.

"Ok now try and duel with them." He said as he waved his hand. Our weapons glew white, stun weapons.

I gulped as I readied my self for Red's attack. He smiled as he charged me with his sword. I quickly blocked it with the handle of my pike. A shockwave shot forth from the impact. Red was oddly moving faster than usual.

"Each element has a different afect on the body, in Red's case he can move as fast as light. You Windra can with stand great blows and not feel them as your body becomes like a block of ice." He told us as I tried attack Red but I was to slow.

"They also have neagitive side affects, Windra with ice shield you move slower. Red with electric your attack strenght is weakened. So you must be careful on which element you choose." He told us as he moved out of the way of Red's parry.

I could barely hit Red but when I did he went flying. Then with smirk he slammed his blade into the ground as sent a wave of energy towards me. I quickly slammed my pike into the ground and sent a wave of ice towards him. We didn't even notice Le'Cusï move far out of the way.

"Huh." I said but was blown far back into some bushes. Red was sent flying into a bush as well. I stummbled to get up, then I saw the damge. A hole the size of a large table was in the garden. I laughed at the mess we did as I helped Red to his feet.

"I'm sorry about the garden I help clean up." I said as I sent my pike away.

"Don't worry the garden repairs it self, now that you know how to summon element to your weapons you just need to practice. Once you know how to control the elements in your weapons, we begin on focusing them to your hands. I must go, remember to practice I will check up on you two later," He said as he walked out of the garden.

"I going to rest I'm drain." I told Red as I laid down against a rock to rest.

"Ok I'm going to check on Tin-si, be really to duel again." Red said with a warm smile as he past me.

I smiled back.

...I head off to meet Tin-si ... When I find him he is talking to Syno and Le'Daï ...

"Whats up" I say walking up to them.

"Red...Tin'si cannot locate your mom or Drakfot" Syno says looking at me.

"Wha ... but why not? can't you just port to them?" I ask suprized.

"No ... I cannot it seems the dark ones are using somekind of magic to hide them from our view."Tin'si says shaking his head.

"Yes its tobad they're not guardians or we could just follow there energy" Le'Daï says shaking his head.

"I don't know what they are planning" Syno says.

"Syno ... what can I do?" I ask

"Nothing we must only hope that Drakfot and you mother do not get cought by the Dark ones ...because they are not guardians they stand no chance at all" Syno says looking at Le'Daï.

"Well acually Syno they would have to stop the magic they are using to hide them from us in order to capture them" Le'Daï says

"Your right!...I had not thought of that ... Tin-si pay attention if you feel there presence TP to them at once and get them to safty do you understand"..Syno says.

"Yessir" Tin-si says.

"So let me get this strait,You can order the karavan around too?" I ask Syno.

"Heh ... as can Le'Daï order kami's we are the leaders...But any order Le'Daï gives to another karavan overides my orders ...likewise my orders overide his to kami." Syno exclaims.

"Ahh I see" I say as I nod..."Well I better get ready to goto Crystabell tomarrow" I say to them as I bow and head off...

I walk into the room where the others are... "Guys lets get ready to move...tomarrow we goto Crystabell ... we will no longer be in the safty of the temple and may be attacked at anytime be on your toes." I say.

"Right"everyone says as they start to gather there stuff.

"Lets hope this goes smooth with no attacks on us" I say trying to sound reasuring.

"Yeah"they all say...

"Ok guys when your done packing suplies its best if you rest up so we are ready" I say.

Everyone agrees... we all pack for a few hours then talk as we rest up ... untill we fall asleep ...

Tomarrow we leave our safty and head to Crystabell.......

After a few moments Banestar looked at Drakfot with red eyes for she had been crying. It is impossible to sense what she felt as she had come to Crystabell in hope to find her son, but only found misery and tradegy instead. As she looked at Drakfot, no words were spoken, she told her that she would not give ut, yet she could not stay here for any longer as it was tearing on her.

"Let us travel to Fairhaven Banestar." Drakfot said as she looked at her. "There we can use our mounts and travel to the other town to ask if they have been taken to any informary there."

"Y..yes, please I cannot bare to be here anymore" Banestar answered sobbing.

Drakfot took her hand and helped her back on her feet and used a small clothing to dry off her tears. Then they both teleported to Fairhaven.
As they opened their eyes in Fairhaven and proceeded to bon another pact they saw the messenger was still there. He had spotted them and was moving towards them.

"Did you , ehm, find anything ?" He asked a bit wary.

"We only found tradegy there my friend. And blood." Drakfot replied quickly as she knew that Banestar would not like to hear of it again for some time.

"I see, I was too firgtened to travel back there too soon." The messenger said as he squeezed his bag. "Guess I have to find out myself."

He bowed and ran to his mount and continued his travels. Drakfot and Banestar went to the stables to fetch their mounts. Ki was patitently waiting for Drakfot as he always did, standing next to her packers.
They opened the door at got both Ki and Banestar's mount out, as they gt out on the place outside they both looked around a little then stretched.

"Where do you wish to go first Banestar?" Drakfot asked as they sat up on their mounts.

"I don't know.. but I think Windemeer" She replied in a way that was telling that she did not know where to go or what to do.

"Then lets travel there my friend." Drakfot said as they started to move.

"Drak... is he alright?" Banestar suddenly asked as Drakfot sided up next to her.

"Yes he is, I cannot say why I feel that he is. But something is telling me that he is well. That we just have to find him." Drakfot said while looking at Banestar holding her hand.

"And find him is what we will do"

..."Sir. It is done we have hiddin the one called banestar and the one called Drakfot from there veiw" a dark one says bowing.

"Exelent work"Kin-Daï says grinning.

"Sir what do you plan to do to them?" The dark one ask's.

"That is none of your comcern" Kin-Daï responds.

"Sorry sir!" the dark one says with fear in his voice.

"Be-gone"Kin-Daï says to him.

"Yes sir" the dark one says leaving.

"hmmm .... so they think they can hide from me eh?...Well lets see how long it takes for them to make a mistake" Kin-Daï says sounding annoyed.

"Ahh there you are Kin-Daï" A dark one says entering the room.

"Ah.. Greetings my friend" Kin-Daï says with a smirk.

"So have you succeded in hiding the two Trykers from the guardians view?" the dark one says as he comes out from the shadows.

"Yes Lui'kin I have"Kin-Daï says as he turns to face him...

Lui'kin walks upto Kin-Daï ... he is wearing a black cloak ... his face cannot be seen .. on the cloak is the markings of the kami ... but in red ...

"Where is Son-ki?" Kin-Daï ask's Lui'kin.

"He is on his way ... Does La'Beka know about me and Son-ki?" Lui'kin ask's

"No he does not ... he thinks I am the only leader"Kin'Daï says as he faces Lui'kin.

"Why didn't you kill him when you had the chance?" Lui'kin ask's annoyed.

"I thought it better to give him time to join us." Kin'Daï says.

"You were scared you couldn't kill him...Do NOT lie to me Kin'Daï."Lui'kin says annoyed.

"Why didn't you meet him then? and kill him yourself? ... I will not take unessisary risk when the time grows so near." Kin'Daï says annoyed now.

"You fool leaving him alive is not a risk?"Lui'kin shouts at him.

"Do not speak to me that way!"Kin'Daï says drawing his blad upto Lui'kin's neck.

"hmm you may not be the coward I was beginning to think you were ... but you will not kill me you need me." Lui'kin says calmly.."Now back off..and lets get to work on the next step."

"Fine with me."Kin'Daï says lowering his blade.

"How is the nest in the Zoraï lands recovering after the homins killed the queen?"Kin'Daï ask's.

"The base is being recovered ... It has only slowed our plans to wipe out the Zoraï lands,not stopped it."Lui'kin says.

"Why even waist our time in the Zoraï Lands ... The Goo will destroy it in time anyway"Kin'Daï says.

"Yes but the goo is beyond our control,We want to rule Atys,Not rule a bunch of Goo ...we cannot make use of an area destroyed by Goo."Lui'kin says.

"My question still stands then.Why take a land that will be destroyed?"Kin'Daï ask's

"We will find a way to contain it..."Lui'kin says.

"Bah ... I still say its a waist of time."Kin'Daï says looking at a map of the lands...You only want it because your a kami .. you have ties to that place ... your letting it cloud your judgment."

"Watch yourself..."Lui'kin says annoyed.

Kin'Daï stares at him..."I do not fear you,You are not much stronger if any stronger then I am"

"Is that so? want to test thet theary?"Lui'kin ask's as he forms a pike in his hand.

"Maybe I do." Kin'Daï says drawing his sword.

"Stop it you fools" a voice yells as someone enters the room.

"Son-ki...Just in time to watch your kami friend die"Kin'Daï says smiling.

"fools ... If you kill one of you are chances to beat the Guardians is reduced greatly."Son-ki says walking up to them..."Kill eachother if you please after we win but we must work together untill then".

Lui'kin looks at Kin'Daï as Kin'Daï looks back at him ..."He is right I will spare you this day Kin'Daï" Lui'kin says.

"You have it backwards I will spare YOU this day."Kin'Daï says back annoyed.

"Silence both of you!..Your follishness annoys me..."Son-ki says annoyed ...

they turn to face Son-ki ... he is wearing a black claok like the one Lui'kin is wearing but it has kara markings in the same blood red color as the kami markings on Lui'kin.

"We cannot kill the one called Banestar at this time...So we wait" Son-ki says.

"Why can't we kill her?"Kin'Daï ask's.

"The time is not right ... the guardians ... espessially La'beka will attack us at all cost"Son-ki responds...

"But can't we kill La'beka?"Kin'Daï ask's.

"We must kill him first ... "Son-ki says ... "But why?!" Kin'Daï ask's

"As long as La'beka lives Banestar can't be killed" Lui'kin says.

"What! why not? Explane this to me at once"Kin'Daï shouts.

"The spirit of La'beka....Protects her...If we attack her then La'beka will apear and we will have another Crystabell on our hands ... that is not something we can let happen ... it may draw tomuch attention to us before the kitin army is large enough."Son-ki explanes.

"So your saying we cant kill La'beka?"Kin'Daï ask's.

"Its not time yet."Lui'kin ...."to kill him we would need a large amount of energy ... not something we can hide..because all the Guardians will show up...we must wait till they are in a remote area."

"Lets get back to planning" Lui'kin says turning to the map ...

"Lets" Kin'Daï says ...as they all turn back to the map .............

"Why didn't you wake me up, Cin'Lone?" I asked Cin'Lone as we ran now the temple hall way.

"You were to cute wake up." She had with a smile.

I just blushed as I open the grand door.

"Sorry I'm late, Tin-si we need to go to Windemeer, Jen'Moda's father, Drakfot, and Banestar are all in Windemeer." I said as we joined the others.

"Ok, ready, and be on your toes. If anything goes wrong we're are getting all of you out." Tin-si said before he teleported us.

With a flash of light we were standing in the warm sands of the Lakelands.

"I'm so glad I'm not wearing boots." I said with a grin.

"Same here." Aqua said with a grin.

"Jen'Moda!" I voiced cried.

"Huh, dad!" Jen'Moda cheered as she ran to her father was at the stables.

"Jen, so how I've missed you." Kion Utasi said as he hugged his daughter.

"Ok let's see if we can find Drak and Bane, I'll say with Jen." I told everyone.

They nodded and entered Windemeer.

"Windra." Kion Utasi said when he saw me walking towards her.

"Windra your hair is back to normal." He said with a warm smile.

"Yeah I'm not in Spirit Beast form, ummm listen, you're not going to be able to see Jen'Moda much for sometime." I told him with a heavy heart.

"Why?" Kion Utasi asked.

"The Darkness has returned and well....." I tried to finish the sentence but I couldn't.

"Daddy I'm a guardian and this is this Be'Cona, my spirit." Jen'Moda told her dad as Be'Cona and Le'Sindo appearded next to us.

"Their you are." They said.

"Oh dear, bad timing." They said when they saw Kion Utasi.

Kion Utasi just stood there and smiled.

"Oh Jen, I'm so happy, I never wanted you to live this life, I prayed to Jena that you would be something great. This life my be dangorus but you have a new family that will protect you. Here take his with you." Kion Utasi told his daughter with tears in his eyes. Then then walked over to his packer and pulled out a purple silk bag.

"I want you to take this, it was your mother's." He told his daughter as he handed her the bag.

She reached in and pulled out a ring with a red gem.

"It was your mother favorite ring, truth be told she was one of the best Gunners in all the Lakelands. She was known was the "Twilight Gunner", in that bag are her favorite possions, and her duel pistals." He told his daughter his hug.

Jen'Moda began to cry, I even cried and so his our spirits, if they can.

"I'll make mom proud ." Jen'Moda cried with a smile that could brighten the darkness sky.

"Come on, I'll buy all of you and all your friends a drink and a meal." Kion Utasi said as we walked to the local bar, but before we walked into Windemeer Jen'
Moda put her mother's bag in her own and hugged it.

"Hey guys we should get moving... We shouldn't stay here to long im getting a bad feeling" I say as I look out at the water.

"Ok but we havn't found Bane or drak" Windra says.

"They will be ok I know they will" I say to Windra.

"Ok then...lets go" Windra says.

Kion started crying at this point ... "Hey don't worry" I said smiling "Ill keep her safe for you ... Just remember how I destroyed those bandits ...and now I can control my powers" I said as I made A firee ball in my hand,Trying to give him confidence.

"Thank you Redslayer" He said as he smiled and hugged Jen'moda."I love you be careful ok?"he said with tears in his eyes.

"I will daddy, I love you to" Jen'moda said.

I waited a bit then said "Ok ... Lets go guys" everyone nodded and we headed out ....

"If you see my mom tell her im safe, Utasi" I said as I waved.

"Ok!" he yells back as we leave.

"Where to Red?" Windra ask's me.

"hmmm lets head back to the temple for the moment" I said.

"Yeah we can plan stuff in safty" Windra says smiling.

"Yeah."I say smiling ...

But as we start to leave town Syno walks up to me and says "Red may I speak with you a moment?" it sounded important so I said "Sure" and went with him ...

"Whats up" I ask Syno.He turns to face me and tells me...........

As we walked out of Windemeer everyone turned around and starred at me, all expect Red he was gone.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Windra what happened at the bar, Jen'Moda won't tell us?" Le'Conda, Aqua, and Cin'Lone asked me in a firm voice.

I fell silent.

"Windra, what happened, we felt a powerful aura?" They snapped.

I stayed silent as Jen'Moda walked over to me. She then pulled off a gloves and showed them her hands to them.

Their eye's got wide and mouth dropped open.

"Windra what have you done!" Aqua boomed as she ran up to me and smack me so hard I fell against the bridge.

I didn't say anything.

"Windra why did you do that!" Aqua yelled as she raised me to the ground and then till my feet were off the ground. I slightly glanced down at her face her face. Tear's were rolling down her cheeks.

Jen'Moda just stood next to me and starred down at the ground.

"Leave him alone!" Kion Utasi yelled as he ran to towards us.

"Do you know what Windra has done to your daughter!" Cin'Lone yelled at Kion Utasi as she blocked his path.

"Yes I do, now put him down!" Kion Utasi snapped.

"One of you three explain what happened now!" The three snapped.

So we began to explain.......

"Stop this, what are you doing!" Our spirits boomed as they appeard behing Aqua and Le'Conda.

"Windra talk!" Aqua snapped.

Be'Cona and Le'Sindo walked away from the others and joined us. They knew what I did as well.

"Le'Sindo, Be'Cona?" Le'Sinta and La'Belle said shock by what they just did.

"Windra made me a promise." Jen'Moda whimpered.

"What kind of promise?" Aqua and Le'Conda both asked.

Jen'Moda held her tongue.

"I made her a promise when we were alone in the hotsprings." I told Aqua avoiding her gaze.

Aqua and Le'Conda and their spirit gave me a hard look.

"We got to talking about this battle and I told her about my life. I told her we were family, then she hugged me. I guess she was sleepy and the steam and the insent put her to sleep. When I hugged her I felt more then a child, more then a guardian. I felt.......a daughter!" I boomed with tear's in my eye's.

Everyone's eye's went wide and Aqua dropped me to the ground.

"So just before she fell asleep I made a promise, a promise that I would protect her till my death, so when we were at the bar is did the "Bond of One Soul." So if she ever dies at the hands of those devils I take her place." I finished.

Aqua was in front of me trembling, tears still rolling down her cheeks, she had lost total focus, ever eye's had turned light.

Le'Conda was kneeing before Jen'Moda she was rubbing Jen's left hand hoping the the symbol was paint.
