I picked someone near where I live. I can zoom into street level and it seems this person must be a University Student living in the University's Apartments or Dorms. Its pretty accurate to the street. Is this cause people can put in amount of info they desire or is it seriously giving me street info

By default, you just enter your postal code and it places a marker at the center of your city. If you then go into your profile, it lets you move your marker around to the exact position you choose.

If you just enter your city, then it just puts the marker at some seemingly random location in the city. If you wish, you can then go in and edit the location of your marker to put it wherever you want.
