a) Respawn

It is impossible to respawn in a region owned by an opposing faction. It is possible to respawn in a neutral region, a region controlled by one’s faction, or in one’s own capital.

So if you die in a foreign land thats regions are totaly held by the opposing faction you spawn back to your homelands city ?

Also what is your Homeland ? im Zorai but my Guild Hall is in YRK and I have high fame with all four civs

Will it still be possible to spawn at "intercontinental" portals even if the region they are in isn't controlled by the player's/neutral faction?

(This will give an answer to the question "Who owns the portals?" that came up in another thread aswell.)

Now this is more interesting than the King of the Hill zone.

Not sure why I do this but I have this incurable urge to provide feedback and find bugs.

* Perhaps make the non-purple zones defended by less than level 250 NPCs, so lower levels have something to do other than grind. Rather than just awarding faction points for killing players remove faction points for killing players in zones more the 50 levels lower than you highest combat level in these zones.

* Enable foragers and/or crafters to help rebuild the spires by trading in mats and crafted items to gain faction points.

* Pull your finger out and get some non-PVP content working. Rites for example were just starting to look interesting before they evaporated. A decent set of kitin raids would also be popular.

* Allow the use of teleport tickets to enemy zones but only to functioning friendly teleporters and only while the zone's enemy spire is low level (say level 1 only or levels 1 and 2). E.g allow kami to teleport to the Grove of Confusion kami teleporter regardles of who owns the zone.
vguerin wrote:Why would the Karavan or Kami want to give access to those that do not follow their ways... it only makes sense. The "powers" care not about your RP stance, they care about those willing to serve their cause. I understand that "neutral" stance, but it should be the hardest because you get nothing you don't obtain yourself.
I have to agree with this. Why would Kami/Karavan's teleport around neutrals? I can't imagine they need the money!

What content is that?

Must have taken a good year to think of that!
mind explaining in a sensible way what you were trying to say? i can't even think of an explanation for your first sentence starting with because, when i haven't even asked a question...

even that would screw up PR diggers. let ppl who have pvp flag off port anywhere they wish

ok i like the idea apart from one thing. shutting down teleports. It doesnt make sense to me that if i have a kami ticket to a region i can't use it if the kara are in control. the tp's have always been safe zones.

Maybe its ok for PvP flagged, but doing this for everyone will seriously limit exploration and travel for the new and not too well travelled homin amongst us. Treks are one of the really great things for everyone, making a trek in enemy territory sounds even more fun, but u have to let us get the tp's on the way ;)

I was around since launch.
I was drawn to this game by many of the features announced back then, most important one being the RAID engine. I'm the classical non-PvP player.
In all this time, I held out in the hope that Nevrax would deliver on their initial promises. I stayed in the game throughout the bleak months, faithfully paying my money to support a truly unique vision.

No longer. Yesterday, I unsubscribed, angried by the Episode 2 debacle and the lack of reaction by Nevrax to the feedback by the playerbase.

Today, I find this announcement.

It made me wish that I could hit that unsubscribe button one more time. Badly.

The game took a turn which turns me away for good. I am deeply disappointed by Nevrax, who never got their priorities right and switched between aspects of development too many times.

Xavier tells us they're having 'quite a lot' of discussions on 'other' content at the moment. Sounds to me like a bunch of people having nice chats in their coffee breaks.

I hope the people who stay will have as much fun and affection as I had in the past year. I hope SoR's future is not as bleak as I see it now. But I lost my faith.

I'm leaving.

Truly sad,
