Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
They all decide to get back into the car, now with the duct tape in place. They get to the next town. The Fyros says, you know what? I think we don't need to fix this car at all, the duct tape works just fine. The matis chimes in. Nah let us sell you some parts to fix it! The Tryker says. I'm sorry I think I will get out now and wait for someone who won't get us killed.

Nice one Korin.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Not really.
Keep bumping though. I'm sure the dev's will work all through the weekend if you bump it a few more times.

Just doing a peaceful protest, about the soon to become 2 weeks without a fix to a problem.amitlu wrote:Hello,
This is an issue we're in the process of ironing out this issue and making sure we can provide the best exeperience possible for harvesters of all races. Hang in there, folks.
So yes, I'll keep on bumping til it is fixed.
If you have issue with this. Then just don't bother reading the thread.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Actually, I'd like to post this challenge to any other forager of any other race:
TERMS: Make a Tryker, new character, go with any starting packs you wish.
I shall make a Matis or Zorai character, with the same.
Goal: Reach 100 in Forage.
Reward: 5 million dapper paid upon the first person with the 100 forage title
witnessed and screenshotted above that character's head.
Let me know if there's any takers from other races!

Stormhaven
I've reached 100 during beta with both races (Zorai and Matis) in 1/4th the time it will take a Tryker under current conditions. I'm hoping there will be someone to take up the challenge!
And yeah...I'd like some nice aged Munster with this!

Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
There are currently Zorai in Tryker mainland.
Tryker Black Company broke through to zorai land.
There is a prevalence of Zorai and Fyros weapons and armor in Tryker land, noone need complain anymore, we will catch up swiftly.....except it seems all the high levels fled to zorai with tryker black and arent coming back.
It is getting boring without a change of scenery I think. A decent weapon still costs 400k there.

Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
How does this help out new people joining the game and try and work their foraging up? Are they supposed to wait til they can forage the q250 nodes in the borderlands? Going from q50 nodes with matching level mobs, to q250 nodes with same mobs isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. And what of those Tryker crafters, who are forced to use quartered mats to practice solely, makes it hard for everything but shieldcrafters because certain types of material do not drop often.amitst wrote:There are currently Zorai in Tryker mainland.

If tryker's aren't meant to be crafters or harvesters, then why were we given that option?
This is not an invalid complaint. This is an Issue that needs resolved.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
I decided to get enough materials to make a heavy vest last night of ql 60... I went to kill various mobs for quartered mats and spent 6 hours killing cloppers, stingas and ybers. I got plenty of clopper shells and yber leather for the armor shell and alot of clopper parts for the stuffing and armor clip but the moss for the lining dropped once out of the 25 or so stingas I killed and only 1... At that rate it would take hundreds of stingas just to make one vest and thousands to make a whole suit. So making stuff out of quartered stuff is not very economical either. Guess I will go back to dodging mobs in lagoons.

And thus comes another *bump*
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Anyone used to be able to forage in the borderlands. After all noone can kill anything there yet without a group. But I swear that more and more aggro monsters are added each patch just like in the prime roots. I believe as well that these spots being added to the tryker mainland would be easier for them to do than nerfing the ammo or whatever they did with the last patch. I think there is some reason for the tryker seclusion. Regardless, there are plenty of high level weapons and armor for the fighters and mages to progress fine.....and many players are harvesting mission items for high foraging exp......even though its a big waste or time.zzeii wrote:How does this help out new people joining the game and try and work their foraging up?
