We just keep rising. I'll bump this thread so the influx of new players see it and will go to share their view of this great game
I wonder how high our meteoric rise can go
WOOT
Im glad that so many people love it and that people consider it, "the mmorpg unlike the others"

what i think is so funny, is reading the comments to ryzom,
then reading the stream of hate comments that are poured into wow and gw, which is expected since those games dont really hold interest for that long
so if we really do surpass eve online in the user reviews, then we will be out in first... in my opinion

What about gw?

Whoohoo, third place!
But anyway, we're going to need to keep raising our raiting if we want any better of a rank. Guild Wars and WoW both have way too many votes to be very mobile at all in their score. Over 3k for WoW... I won't do the math, but that's a lot of additional votes to bring it below even 7.7 from 8.0...
I wonder what got people voting to raise our score so much... think this thread really had that much of an effect?

gw is popular (may fall a little), and WoW probably wont fall too far. 3rd is an incredibly good achievement and well deserved I say \o/

The idea here is not to bring down wow, but to raise SoR and over take it!

My guess, probably a snowball'ing effect.
SoR was on the verge of being on the top 10 list before (for a long time it was just sitting right under the EQs), but once it somehow hopped on to the list, we all jumped in.
I was just a lurker at mmorpg.com before, but seeing it made it on the list prompted me to register and give my support. I think this is the case for a lot of the rest.

GW is not an MMORPG,
theres an RPG that you can play online like diablo, and then thers a PVP thats more akin to counterstrike, you dont intereact with huge groups
honestly does anyone call counterstrike an MMORPG? you could, but its not the same as ryzom
edit: my point is that i already consider us to be in first place, wow is something basic that most eveyrone has played and moved on from, and gw is not an mmorpg

Unfortunately, as much as I believe the argument that GW isn't a true MMORPG, that won't get it off the list
