Being of strong mind and body, I outwardly deny the beliefs of the Kami creatures, all I have found them mildly good for is dinner.
There short stout bodies are way to stringy to be used for such items as armor grip, or even cloth for my children.
There heads make great hood ornaments for my packer, and there skin actually does make for good soft shoes for my packer.
The furry ones that I have seen might make for a great winter coat, although there strong ape like arms has me concerned on how I would take down the beast.
Kami are totally anoying creatures with long pointy fingers, although I have heard rumors that on every sunset, you can witness them picking there nose with them and scratching there butts.
The goals of the Karavan were made clear to me during my childhood, that was to eradicate all Kami presense from the lands, since then, when ever I am with a group of fighters, and we run across a Kami encampment in our territories, we do our best to destroy the encampment, this discouraging them from growing ever more stronger in our midst.
We all have seen the sickened Kami followers amongst us, and from time to time, you can witness a bar brawl or two, as the Kami worshipers are thrown about, for the amusement of the Karavan.
This brings a cheerful tear to my eye, knowing that the Karavan warriors care so much about our lands that they would hurt the Kami as much as they can, at every posibile turn.
Glory to the Kitin that destroy and demolish the Kami, Death to the Kitin who appose the Karavan!
This is the nature of the war on our lands, to remove the Kitin presence and build our defenses, and we cheer on the fact that we hear rumors from afar that the Kami are not as successful at removing them from there lands, this will demolish there armies, destroy there faith, and abolish there resistance for when the Karavan finally invade there lands and destroy there towns.
All Kami need to turn away from there sick and dark desires, and come to the light of the Karavan, so that we can heal your wounds of false prayers and false dieties.

I see you have learned the way of the Karavan well. Your speech is full of lies, much like that of the Karavan. The only place you have ever hurt or killed a Kami us in that genetically delusional mind of yours. The truth is that your weak and fragile body could never stand up to the Kami. In fact I invite you to come to Witherings and to a Kami camp. If you are as powerful as you say you are then you should have no problem wiping them out. I know I would love to see the Kami wipe you out in one swift hit. Now take your lies and go back under the piece of bark you came from.

I scoff as all Kami, being the fragile and week that they are, and there minds are no more than meer pee's in a body pod.
All Kami will eventually be whiped from this planet, to never bother the Karavan kin any longer, and when that happens, you will find that your false and fool hearty bliefs are no more than the dirt under my feet.
Then you will beg for mercy as the Karavan torture you to pull the foul smell and disgusting Kami worshiping thoughts from your deranged and crippled mind.
I will waste none of my time with the Kami in Withering, for at the moment I have more pressing things to do than to play with the foul creatures in there lost habitats.
They will get there time at my sword, as my blade shall pierce every Kami skull until they are no more, but at the moment the Kitin deserve my attention to make sure our lands are not over run by them.
Unlike the Kami followers who want to have piece and cuddle the Kitin while there being devoured and eaten alive, the Karavan and there followers are destroying the Kitin, building our forces, and decimating there paths that they try to take into our cities.
Foul Kami follower, you go play with your Kitin, try to befriend them, and enjoy the spoils of foul stinking death that you and your kind deserve.
For be assured that once the Karavan is through with the Kitin, we shall march our armies into Kami territory and whipe the planet free of your filth like we are doing the Kitin.
Until then, do not try to distract me with your childish Kami dreams of grandure.

The Kami: Beings of dark magic taking the form of cuddly little rodents.
At least, where they still feel the need to decive potential converts. In the desert, where they Fyros have already fallen to thier trickery, I think we begin to see the true nature of these ghastly beings. They are pale wraiths of vapor and despair.
But what is clear is whose side they are actually on.
In the current crissis, materials are needed to defend our lands from the kittin hordes. As our need is urgent, we need to aggresivly extract as much as we can as quickly as possible.
What is the kami response to our efforts of self-preservation? They mutate into thuggish enforcer brutes, and they kill us in order to prevent us from defending ourselves. Were it not for the gentle mercies of the Karavan in restoring life to our bodies, the Kami would have already finished the work of their allies, the kittin.
Some of the decieved might try to argue that the Karavan have not taken an active role in defending our land from the current threat. At least the Karavan has not tried to prevent that defense by slaughtering our harvesters.

I support the US, but I do not take up arms (join the Army) against her enemies, instead I write letters of support and help those that send "care packages" to ease the burdens to those that feel compeled to fight for our nation. There are ways OTHER than fighting, and there are paths that ARE slightly supportive but NOT rabid.
You were saying GUYS, WAKE UP come slap these Karavaners around. I was busying working on skills that would actually HELP the guild, not gain us a reputation of being aggressive or antagonistic.
I have worked on fame, I just don't see it as the END ALL BE ALL of the game, it is more like a five on a scale of ten, kinda important. Since at the moment fame does not REALLY impact your game play in any relavent way (I upped my Kami fame by 5 points and my ticket prices are EXACTLY the same as Lorris' who has negative 5 Kami fame. What is the motivation for raising fame another ten points when it impacts me NONE at all??)
If you want to have a faction aligned guild, BUILD IT, if you want forced directed role play guild where YOU write the roles for your guildmates...good luck.

Just because you lack any knowledge and understanding about Atys, does not mean the Kami are evil. What you fail to understand is that when you take resources from Atys, it takes time for them to replenish. If you remove them totally they won't replenish at all. So the Kami step in to make sure that there will always be resources available for homins to use. Sure the Kami could of let you completly remove a resource from Atys. But what would we do the next time such a threat occurs?
The Karavan on the otherhand just take from Atys and use it elsewhere. They don't stop homins from taking too much because once all the resources are used up, they will just go elsewhere.

The Kami are nothing more than Animals and deceivers, and trying to bend the will of the planet to there Dark ways.
Coward you say, the Lot of Kami are cowards, all of the Kami are weak.
Because I choose to defend my lands before enjoying my personal time destroying Kami, does not make me weak, I say it is you sir, and your foul belief in the Kami way that makes you weak.
They have so distorted your views that you would rather ignore the Kitin threat in your very own lands, defend the Kami and there cause to stop you and your kind from harvesting much needed materials.
Only a fool would choose to follow such ravely as the Kami, when there own Brutes kill your kind like dogs when you try to defend your own nation.
Take a good look into your belief system, see that the Karavan is the true way to follow, and denounce your Kami beliefs, only then can you attain true freedom.

No I was saying to work on Kami and Kami related tribe fame. The reason I said the guild should is because when outposts are introduced, fame will make a HUGE difference. A guild has two options, work on fame now, get ahead, and be in a very nice position. Or wait like idiots till the outposts are implemented, and be way behind other guilds, and have to run around trying to build fame up quickly.
I can't wait till fame makes a difference in what content you and your guild have access to. Because I am going to sit back and laugh my ass off at you while you sit at a camped npc bandit spot, fighting with 20 other players because you need to kill them to get some fame.
As for the reputation of your guild... Well I'll only say that your leader doesn't exactly shine in the eyes of other guild leaders.

*Takes his little piece of heaven and finds somewhere else to romp for a while*
Roleplay = fun sometimes, but not necessary all of the time.
GamePlay = happens all the time when your playing, with or without roleplay.
Moral of the story, get a pet, call it fiber, and feed it cheesewiz, wether you play with the pet or not, in the end, what comes out is nothing more than converted what goes in

raynes wrote:It's not a matter of being a racist or religious fanatic. It's a matter of reading and understanding what the Kami and the Karavan represent.
From the lore page about the Kami:
Goals
- To eradicate the Goo.
- To retain an equilibrium between flora and fauna and hence preserve their habitat.
- Recruit Homins to their cause
- Oppose the Karavan
Now how can you possibly roleplay that you follow the Kami without opposing the Karavan and without trying to recruit others to follow the Kami?
From the lore page about the Karavan:
Goals :
- Maintain and develop the worship of Jena in preparation for her return
- Protect and conserve the planet against the Goo.
- Consolidate and extend their influence over homins
- Oppose the Kamis and prevent the worship of Elias Tryton from spreading
- Guard the secret of their origin and that of their technology from destructive hands
Now how can you support the Karavan when when of the goals of the Karavan is to oppose the Kamis?
When you do missions for the Karavan, you are helping them. You are doing tasks for them. By the very fact that you are helping the Karavan. The very fact that you are doing tasks for them, you are actively opposing the Kamis. Why do you think your fame would drop? Yes, it's because they will view you in a less favorable light. But why do they view you less favorably? It's because you are helping the ones they oppose.
I imagine there are about as many ways to roleplay in any MMORPG as there are players.
Tell you what, raynes... I'll do it my way, you do it yours, and I wish you the best of luck with your new Kami evangelist RP guild. It can only add to the gameplay for the rest of us, even if we don't all feel like following the same script.
