there is still no shop for selling items or materials to other players - and the game is out of beta for one month

there is still no discription what happens during a fight - there is no log file, no detailed information of stanzas and items and mobs...
AND i don't want to ask everybody to learn about game mechanic - the game must give me a reasonable possibility to find it out for my own

maybe the game is more interessting when you play in a big guild, but not everybody wants this.

i go out finding good material locations, i harvested the materials - i have no chance to sell them for a good price - after a time i ask myself "BORING, WHAT AM I DOING HERE?"

i go out fighting, there is no real information what happens during the fight (perhaps a log file would be nice as mentioned above) and as a single player you can only loot basic or fine items which are useless for crafting, no chance to get a rare item - after a time i ask myself "BORING, WHAT AM I DOING HERE?"

i invested all my money in improving my crafting skills - i wanted to sell lvl 70 heavy armour made from choice and excellent materials - no way, there is no market place. i posted from time to time in region chat - no reaction. the people where bored of my postings, since there is no trade channel and the region chat is not for trading - after a time i ask myself "BORING, WHAT AM I DOING HERE?"

bad game for single players
there are no quests,
there are no special items, which are very expensive and you have the motivation to get one
what should i do with my money, is it only for crafting since there is nothing to buy??

when there is no change during the next week you were freed of my boring posts, because than i cancel my subscription

Just saying I liked the invasion of Fyros recently. Very fun. Thanks to all the staff who made it happen.

An idea for a new credit:

Have you noticed that the self heal powers use the full power/credit system ,
but have no actual options ?
This got me thinking.

I'd like to propose a new credit for self heals , that uses dappers.

The economy needs a money sink, its currently reverting to a barter system.
Matts for finnished items, money is getting more and more ignored.

Now patch one may improve this , as the vendors will only work with dappers.


But to the details , 2 Ideas


1/ a self heal credit , that uses up 1k dapper per +10
bought in bricks of 10 [ ie -10 at lvl 1, -20 lvl 2 , -30 lvl 3]
costing 10sp per brick from any trainer
Thats 10sp per brick to buy
1000 dappers per brick every time its used.

But : you can't use just these credits , there has to be a timer one
as well [ or a minimum timer , set slightly less than the +10 credit timer]


2/ As for option 1 , except the dapper cost is much bigger , and you can
use the self heal without the normal 2 minute plus timer.
You would need a timer of sort to stop sillness, maybe a 10 second one.
Costs 10k dapper per level [ie per +10 credits]

Today as i was replying on one thread some things that i missin this game come on my mind so i wished to post it here for open discussion and who know if some developer sii it too ...

What is most missing is some sort of need for group play, after we reached all continents there is no need to group and travel across Prime Roots to new places What can get us again in this exciting journays is to add need to get titles in some sort of dangerus missions. i dont know if to get title of lv 100 black mage you need to travel to some dangerus place and only after you do something you can advance and aquire new skills.

I think that most exciting will be that opening of all skill lines have to be realted to some sort of quest .. basicly if you wish to learn to craft living weapon you have to go and find craft trainer that live in some dangerus place and make for him a weapon of all supreme materials OF aproposite color .. living wepons ..= GREEN for example..

YOU wish to win title of IMPALER (lv 150 pike) you need to get to some place in lv 150 + zone and kill some monsters that you need to use your ignore armour skill?nothing else ..

To get that shiny lightning spells skill line you need to go and kill some monsters with it and trainer can be in some place without teleport and where you need a group of fighters to give you escort ;-)

- also I think that difference between supreme and choice is too small to give players reason to group and go kill Uber monsters. and that is what will be nice to have in game... reason to hunt UBER monsters.. whaat will be nice is to have some real STEP up from using best materials in crafting a.) more experience for crafter for making it, other design! I'm strongly against haveing medium quality and High quality items made from any material i think that it have to be aviable ONLY if you used some good materials like SUPREME or special materials in item. As it is now all medium and high quality will become as common as as normal stuff as there is no chalange/gain making it !!

- Item look have to follow Items quality GOOD item have to look GOOD i as crafter like that it is at first lok visible that i have made SUPREME materials item, now i buy medium plans and stat to make awafull items with golden look BLAHHHHH this is HORRIBLE ... please reconsider to make mediumm and high quality skill plans only but make it so that it is realted to skill needed to craft high quality items !! Basicly without High quality you cannot use supreme and excelent materials full potential. Without Medium quality you cannot use get full bonus from choice and you get only some bonus from excelent etc ...

Ryzom at moment make all items so easy accesable that game will become boring too fast .. there is no chalange needed to archive any goal EXCEPT traveling !! and i traveled all across all zones that i know of :P Pure leveling without some "quest" archivment like impression is danger to get people annoyed of same and repetitive kill , craft, harvest rutine ...

Tool crafting !!! IF we have tools there is need to have tool crafting too ...

How to make it work .. following what we hve in other skills i think that you need at last some QUALITY and LEVEL item to make items,, Basicly to craft SUpreme ql 150 armour you will need SUPREME ql 150 tool for optimal result if you use excelent tool you will get less chance of succes or you can use more material?..

Basicly less quality tool will make you consime more material and will lowe chance of succes.

Spell armour ... we need some sort of resistence to spells that what jewelery was intended as i understanded .. as it is now only defence i have against spells is a % of mage to fail to cast it but it will be nice that i can protect against spells somehow .. Idealy it will give you 90% protection to up to 2 type of spells and 55% to other 2 or some combinations..

Talking about spells it is so easy for a mage to have ALL spells that it is no sense .. ((( it is enough that you get lv 125 in one schooll and you can go and buy other race spell !! this spells have to be FAME based at last so that will not be sold to people who i dont like.

With this changes it can be made so that you have SENSE of archivment when you get some items.

Items .. we need beter armour protection with new incomming more damaging monsters what will be nice is to add new skills to improve armour crafting to over 55% for CERTAIN type off attacks but that this new skills are only quest aviable... basicly that crafter can make some 80% bludgeoning and 20% piercing armour or things like that ...

ONe idea to make traveling and fightning armound more interesting can be that for making outposts you need to TRAVEL to outpost with mules in caravan like !! what can be more exciting then a travel with mule pact to new location !! protect it with group ror all efort will be lost !!

Making continetn travel necesary can also be made if you close mule deposits for other countries it it VERY unlogic that i can acces my mules from any stable around world .. this can be offered as service you need to pay for or archive somehow but not so easy ...

FIXES .. please please fix bind locations i hate when i come to some place and i cannot buy ticket and i dont get my bind too ...

Yester day i was having loads of fun (before patch 1) now i am bored and playing on the principal that they have just taken 45 odd quid from my bank account, this game is now a chore and a bore.

Sorry if im 'not looking at the bigger picture' but just out side of town is boring and will be even more boring as time goes by.

I'll give the game some credit the magic gloves look real nifty :D

Having been involved in some fun but pretty chaotic multi-team incidents it occurred to me that what I needed, or someone in my team, was a big flag to make me more visible in the crowd :) Then other team members could find me easily and rally round. Please could the devs include a Craft Standard skill? Perhaps in the same class as Pike if you would allow the standard to be used as a 2-handed melee weapon. Or maybe in its own class since the crafting skill is more weaving and embroidery than weapon-crafting, and then the standard could be equipped in the left hand allowing 1-handed combat. Ideally I should like to be able to upload the texture for the flag, so I could use my guild emblem. It would be crucial that only one person in any team - the leader - should be able to equip a standard, or else we might be back where we started, struggling to find people in a crowd, only now in a sea of flapping flags :) Then you could also allow team-leaders to pass the flag to another member, making them leader, something I have just remembered needs to be implemented very, very, very urgently.

Please allow team-leaders to pass leadership to their chosen team member, then becoming second-in-command. It would be extremely useful to allow leadership to pass to any member, wherever they are, but it would make more role-play sense to only allow leadership to be passed to a homin close enough for the leader to exchange an item with, whether that homin is currently a member of the team or not.

Back to my campaign to be a standard bearer - I am of course, paying no thought to how flags snapping in the wind will make my graphics card smoulder :) Ryzom has set the standard ( :D ) for breathtaking graphical design in gaming and Im sure if you take up my suggestion then the results will look amazing.
