Re: patch each launch

I'm happy to help in any way I can Ez
I wouldn't worry about the license at all. They can't punish me for distributing a single BNP file, since it's only data, and without the rest of the game it's useless. They also would be unwise to punish me, since I'm paying customer, and intend to be a customer for some time.
Well, let's see what happens now soul has been in touch. To be honest I don't have any faith in them fixing it, it's taken so damn long for someone to pick it up it's untrue. This thread is now 5 pages long, and plus several people in the NA community have had the same problems. Either it hasn't been picked up from these forums like it should have been, or it hasn't been passed onto the Devs, or they're assuming it's down to software installed on the affected machines.
I also had a brief patch problem - I had the weird one where I was told a patch containing 0 files of 0 MB needed to be downloaded, the client restarted, and luckily it worked OK after that. There is definitely a problem with the patch code, or the patch server - the software on my machine has not changed for several months now.
Anyway, if you're happy to live with it for now, let's hope someone finally fixes it. It's really starting to annoy me now, and I don't even have the problem...
