I honestly was not aware some of those bugs/exploits were in game. The quoted ones are major issues, in my opinion. For the first, not harmless at all, even if it is just buy every single craftable mat at the merchant, no matter the price (even those put as storage). Inject tons of dappers in game. Devaluate even more the economy. For the second, well you get the idea. Even if it is just cats. Elder of Atys title? well, don't ask my opinion, I rightfully got tha title. Kitin titles? same... I understand fully why some people are upset. We can live with phoenix anims and fireworks, but unlimited dappers? NPC armors?

All these are clear signs that game is running without control and FUBARed (Fmessed up beyond all repair, since it is clearly hard to put the cat back in the bag). This reminds me when I use cheat codes god modes and other spawning commands in single player games, it usually means I am done with that game. The problem is that now the game seems to be in twilightzone, waiting for news.

Its possable to get the npc crystals crafted by players from another shard in a 100% genuine fashion btw. Though i dont know if that is what has happened. Before someone who has genuine gear gets stripped of it unfairly.

I find it highly implausible that anyone would be willing to let someone who obviously got the ability to craft npc gear by "other means" make it for them.

I was getting the impression complaints were being made about something slightly different.

Just to make sure nobody starts panicking; all illegal items can be identified with the following rules:
- They are of quality 1
- They have no crafter

With the following exceptions
- Fireworks in quantities lower than 40 may come from CSRs
- Eggs of level 1 are from the original event with the easter eggs
- Eggs of higher level but displaying level 1 in quantities lower than 10 are from CSRs
- Sap Recharges with a sap load higher than 0
- Spell Crystals

I can't but smile at that statement, with all due respect :) but 'twould not be my experience. In lots of MMORPGs, if a exploit is known, it spreads and it's used. In Aniro, for example, the "yubo exploit" allowed several Mind Lords in days. I would bet that it would (not saying that it is) be the same for NPC armors. If a player can simply ask someone "send me the anims to put the phoenix in game", I can't see why not he would ask him "can you get me an NPC armor?". This is like pretending that if you have a friend that makes money, you would not ask for a couple grand, specially if you are not afraid of/ there are no consequences of "getting caught"

I know what you mean, though don't let things blow so out of proportion, 99% of those who do know how, don't do anything with said knowledge. The CSR's know anyways, and probably have for a long time.

I would imagine its only really 1 or 2 players who are exclusively doing the real abusing, and banned they should be.

Id also imagine that a large proportion of the playerbase doesn't really care, isn't really that bothered and is just continuing on as usual. I know full well some of my guild are like that.

Well tbh, i cant really argue with you on that point. Feeling cheated is probably how id feel too.

Though id try and logic my way into feeling a little less cheated if you see what im trying to convey in some of my other posts.

no idea what kaet was on about in that post above me Oo...

but i wanna make it clear , the "[edited for language by boroshi but this time edited by nightblade to save boro the hassle]" i was talking about, and the cheating etc, i'm talking directly about those who _abuse_ this power. what specifies as abuse? i'm sure we can argue a long time about this one but when it comes down to editing scripts to make R2 work better vs spawning gear thats supposed to be very hard to get end-game content.. well i dont think there's much argument there...

saying "some people get bored b/c GF isnt putting any new content out" and that ya can't blame these ppl, is IMO true for specific kinds of people.. are you trying to make the game a better place for everyone or are you making it easier for _YOU_ to do something vs the rest of the populace?

humbug.. i wanted to clear that up as i know there are people in the two different categories, and i'm only ranting against the one...

...

just me or are we -seriously- off topic now? >.>
