kara : ok lets do it
kara attack = kami have 1 less op and complain we are evil
It usually works something like this Jack because the kara outnumber the kami OP's 2-1 atm and has been worse in the past. This is why we are always attacking because this is the only thing left to do. The kara seem evil when they re-attack only because well, a few have 2 OP's for one guild and the rest just have already got one. If the sides were reversed- and we all hope for the sake of entertainment at least that they one day will be -then you'd be the non-stop nuisance makers always attacking and the kami would be evil for attempting to take your last remaining OP when it isn't even needed
Not trying to flame/troll in any way here, I am today in the very best of moods
Just clearing up for some why one side always seems to be attacking and disrupting the peace of the fair KA lands hehe.
Kodel.

The "karavan faction" alliance doesn't have "all" the outposts or even close to it. I'm pretty sure that isn't the plan, either. As Jackoba pointed out, the KA is more reactionary than anything else.
Only 15 of 28 outposts are controlled by one alliance of karavan guilds. The other 13 are held by either neutrals, inactive guilds, or the other alliance. The last two "community" outposts now belong to the other (kami-kamivan-kami/neutral or K3) alliance.
As I understand it, the kami on Aniro controlled 2/3 of the outposts there and had controlled most of the server for a long time, yet the kara there apparently didn't give up during all that time, and now control all the outposts. A similar thing could happen here, only with the kami being the ones to turn the tide. I would see this as a good thing, though there is one difference between Arispotle and Aniro - I don't see either side attacking guilds such as RRA or VVV, so there'd be at least a few non-aligned guilds holding outposts here.

Along with 4 Q200s, only one Q 200 is owned by kami.
Yes kami own outposts but nearly all of them are Q50 and 100.

Indeed it does, and that could change overnight. Isn't that what the original poster is trying to point out to us? If you want some back, you need to attack them until you win. It's been done before, and not all that long ago, either.

+1
even if it s development would leave in the stat it s now it would remain a one of a kind universe (to me at least)
Ryzom ain't just a game, remember it all started with the dream of a certain man... David Cohen Corval does that ring a bell

We do attack, and get abused for doing so on the forums, check the other threads.
We have far more to gain so attack far more often, i dont think any kami mind the current situation, used to it maybe, but defiantly full of hope

Just my own view on this; speaking 100% for myself;
When i started OP battles around May, it was fun; i was blissfully unaware of these KAMI / KARA alliances, or who owned what OP.
Now, recently... last 6-8 weeks however i have almost never attended, or got the tail end of the OP' battles at best.
Why; because (and i say this as matter of fact, not to judge or belittle); but it seems the "Stupid" times coincide with SCHOOL KIDS ON HOLIDAYS . OR JUST FINISHED SCHOOL.
Its not UK/Europe mis-matching with USA, or USA mis-matching with UK/Europe... the times have consitently been during the work hours of BOTH geographcial regions (yes, the USA does have time that overlaps UK/Europe work hours).
To me, that is more then enough reason to abandon that part of the game.
what ever happened to Late friday nights.. all through saturday and sunday.... the WHOLE WORLD overlaps and beeing a weekend we can all make the personal choice to wake up extremely early or go to bed extremely late.
But I am sorry; dont think I would have a job if i turned around and said - "..its 4pm on Wednesday, but there is an OP battle in Ryzom... gotta go, see you tommorow boss!"
I am not going to comment on who owns more or less or any of that.. .but nothing is forever;
Best of luck everyone and happy battles

Say how many months experience in leading a guild in such a heavy underdog situation do you have again? Why don't you come over the fence and try? Might be an eyeopener.

You know that kind of talk is cheap when sitting on a pile of cats as you have done from the beginning.
