I don't have gear from factions, I have gear from races and civilizations.
Since I have no beef with anyone regardless of their religion (unless they attack me, my guild, or my friends) I would hope for at the very least tolerance from all but the most radical and misguided of fanatics.
The Kitin are the enemy.

Being able to solo around Atys is one of the biggest spoiler in game
Someone hasn't been a new player in a long long time.

Relationships between factions in ryzom are better than most games, but there are some players from both faction i like, most of them being karavan
On says that i have some great friends for are karavan.
As someone who remebers what its like not to have OPs or even factions i try not to let things bother me

Emphasis on the "
I don't have..."
But on second thought, I think that new axe I got yesterday may be such a weapon...

No, the Kitin wish to help you, they are your friends. Please get in a single file line and walk to the Tunnel of Woe and they will make every thing all better.

putterix wrote:Very nice reading in this thread, does lore really have any impact on Neutrality? Imo you become a neutral because you dont believe in it.
one of the reasons I am neutral, is because I believe the Lore, and not the Propaganda.

Kami and Kara followers:
- Killed on sight in all opposite factions lands by guards and townguards
- Only able to wear gear from their own faction
For OP weapons It could work yes but not for racial weapons..
For the same reason as town guards can NOT attack faction players: those are citizenship guards, not cult guards...
Very clever imo as this is what creates the depth and intensify the complexity...
If the town guards had same behaviour as the temple guards: then it would not be Ryzom, it would be Horde Vs Alliance...........

ghostkpt wrote:The definition of neutrality is very hazy and basicly you can be true neutral like VVV, use only neutral tps and never take part in Pvp conflicts or you can be a neutral guild but kami\kara aligned for tps and defending or attacking some other guilds as you see fit like Fluffy Bunnies. It does not really matter, cause you will still be called neutral.
Incorrect. Bunnies have historically had few players who are interested in PvP. But for those that do, Bunnies
never attack anybody. We support status quo "equal opportunity" play which shares game's resources with all players. Guild policiy allows members who want to dabble in PvP to defend kami guilds in kami lands (Fyros / Zora) and kara guilds in kara lands (Matis / Tryker). The way we look at it, if either side wins, game over.
