So you want to reset OPs to bandits? That will start The Great Land Grab v.2.0. Again the server will come up and the few ppl on get to grab the OPs. Been there. Done that. It wasn't fair the first time.Since Cho would be the mergee the OPs should belong to Ari. I was a mergee from Windermeer and you got a title and hearty handshake on your way out. It was good enough.-Kil

i have nothing against Cho. just thinking out loud what needs to be done with outposts if Cho player population drops below red line.

You are new player, so it's unfortunate that you are caught in the middle.
i fully blame old players (mostly kami, but there was kara too), that jumped to Cho, waving "fresh start" flag, rushed to 250, got the outposts they could not get in Arispotle and.... got bored and quited or (like Keiko said itself) came back to Arispotle full time.

anyway, i dont play on Cho. i have no interest in merge, but if there will be one they better leave outposts as it is in Arispotle. we have long history behind them where on Cho i see 4 major op owner guilds only (and i doubt we would have this conversation if they would be full of active players).

edit: outpost reset after merge would only serve kami guilds already in Arispotle. Cho guilds would still be left out.

Unsurprisingly, I agree with Kil and Blaah. The fairest and most viable option if the shards were to be merged would be to open a few more(new) outposts to attack. Theres alot of blame to be shared, partly on Nevrax for adding Cho too early, partly on the players that couldn't hack it & jumped ship. I do feel sorry for the true newcomers who arn't to blame, but at the same time it's not the fault of the Aripotle population either.

If this move were even required, I strongly appeal to the CSR to forward our concerns on the matter to the devs and that they don't make any quick-fix discisions.

I think some new OPs could be a good solution anyway. But, in that case of merge, it would be very neccesary.

I didnt even think about it serving Kami guilds. It seems generally Kami cannot hold many OPs anyway, so it wouldn't serve much purpose.

I only thought of an OP reset, because adding more OP didn't come to mind when I was writing my original post...

I suspect many of yall are selling GF a bit short. I am thinking they want to make sure that their name is on a product that they feel is up to snuff. They are aware that word of mouth will offset any publicity push if they just reintroduced the failed Nevrax product.

At the IRC chat, something was mentioned about an astonishing number of visitors who would not finish the downloading process, this latest patch is an attempt to up that percentage. I think now we can expect to see them starting to put their vision into the game. I suspect they planned for several very lean months as they reworked the game into a GF product.

All that being said I think that after this summer the window of opportunity closes on Atys. If things do not look very upbeat by then, the chances of survival are slim.

They will reset/take will take Ginti Workshop from Melinoe over our cold dead bodies or canceled accounts... This goes as well for ANY alliance members OP, they earned them thru blood, sweat and tears as far as I am concerned !

I feel for the new player on Cho who have been addicted to cats since reaching the mainland, but the old timers who went there were mostly folks that couldn't find a niche on Aristople and wanted a fresh start. They were able to jump-start a new life filled with cats from the beginning... Many on Aristople had several masters before XP cats existed. Cho players deserve nothing if they come to Aristople they do not earn. You come here, it had best be for a fresh start like you chose when you went to Cho... WE started LONG AGO ! You are all welcome from Cho, welcome to join our community...

Oh hell no! Melinoe will have to clear any dead bodies or cancelled accounts with me first - no quitting allowed without permission
