I recommend if they were to increased it to limit it to 40 like it used to be. By then they should decide if they like the game.

/bump this threadtr808 wrote:Ever since GF took over i havent seen one single add campaign on any game site i visit regulary... maybe im missing them, but i think u guys are making the same mistake as Nevrax, invest nothing in marketing.... Yea people told me u advertise on ur own site but be realistic, i never heared of u guys b4 u took over and i believe so did the rest of the people here
Also do something about the trial, increase the lvl cap imho, lvl 21 wont show u the game and is so easily done it wont bind people to long to Silan, give them a change to see the development of the skilltrees, let them get lvl 50 for free, i dont see the harm in it, it will make people wonna stay longer and i believe will generate more players.... what do u have to lose? I can also imagine give them the possiblilty to check out mainland for a given time but i can see the problems araising with that aswel... freeloaders overwelming the server, but people will see the game in all its beauty... and will see what they are gonna pay for... maybe a one time 1 week subscription for 4 euros or something could solve this problem.
I bet some people will agree, some will disagree, bring it on
xp reward from missions should be removed and level cap left to 21 for unsubscribers, imho.murmadog wrote:lvl cap for trial account must be 50 for show game to newcomers, imho...
That would be cool.blaah wrote:imho, they also should make it so player needs to retype everything npc says, so they actually learn something
Very simple, if you're level 21 and try to do any of the kami/kara or chiang missions, you simply can't without the help of someone who is much higher level and has completed all the quests or with a very large number of level 21 newbies through attrition. Pretty much can't really go to the lake area due to those aggessives there (at work now, can't recall their name) and high level of everything around. Can't explore the mini jungle with all the kitin in it due to the same reason. Can't explore the goo area due to the high level aggressives there. So basically, if you're new and are playing the free trial, unless you have someone high level taking you under their wing and helping you out and trekking you through the tougher areas, you simply cannot explore over half of Silan!katriell wrote:Since when is the amount of levels attainable directly linked to how much time a player has to do other things? o_O
That is not true. Silan is easymode. All you have to do is be a little careful and you can go almost anywhere. With more care, patience, and some knowledge, you can trek a level-1-all-around character alone through much higher-level, higher-aggro-density regions on the mainland. Essentially, determined explorers should have no problem traversing most of Silan.roseh wrote:Pretty much can't really go to the lake area due to those aggessives there (at work now, can't recall their name) and high level of everything around. Erm, you're thinking as a long time player, switch your thinking into newbie mode please katriell. Please remember that sneaking is an actual player skill that takes time to learn and most newbies won't have the inclination to learn it the first day they are on silan. And knowledge? Where does a newbie trying out a free trial of a new MMO get THAT?katriell wrote:That is not true. Silan is easymode. All you have to do is be a little careful and you can go almost anywhere.
