But that's only for PVP actually, Ryzom's PVE is fun at all levels. That was why I thought my idea (in the linked thread) to nerf all participating combatants in an OP fight to the level of the OP would be great.

The other side of the coin is this (and I know it doesn't apply to all players); I made a Zoraï alt to join the Kami side (my toon Ulani wouldn't change side that easy), but I don't really feel motivated to PVP for the Karavan since (I have the feeling) they are more numerous than Kami. I'd feel more righteous as a rebel. So, look out - in a few years my new toon will be BIG enough to join the battlegrounds

And to the OP, while Karavan oriented guilds have more outposts than the Kami guilds - not all hesitate to share their Catalysts with Kami players. There are more to Ryzom than just K vs K, you know.

Actually they already have a new leader i think...prezz...i dont really know him well but he seems like a good enough guy, and seems intent on fixing up the guild substantially (which i wish him the best of luck with). They might have a website though if you'd like to post in their recruitment section, or you could probably try /telling them in game however if you'd want an invite.

I can only agree on this guys opinion...its true, in the old days we didnt have cats, but why look back to the old days if NOW in this time there are cats and kara have almost ot much and kami has basicly none?

i totally agree on him that he feels like **** because his opponent gets stronger as him every day and he stays behind cause of the stupid cats!

I dont know friend....i think your posts are far more telling than mine, but thats a matter of opinion. I apologized, multiple times, for whatever "wronging" you apparantly have felt by me saying that botting is bad. You apparantly have some very strong feelings on the subject..let us just agree to disagree..shall we?

Are you kidding me? Ive been banned for alot of stuff Fas like you, and to think I tried to help you get your toon back..Ive got every single one of my combat levels without botting, I know for a fact you can't prove otherwise. I know for a fact you used to. Because me and soul were watching you and someone else in FF, as one example.

I perfectly know the world isnt black and white. I met kara people that were more kami then some of us. But I don't like being given freebies. I'm able and I'm willing to take part in PvP, as I already did. After 2 months of play I can be useful, not just another body to rez. If we were CALLED to war, and I could log in at the time, I did go in every OP battle.

And about trading, healing or digging for cats: this won't change the system. I tried this route - digged around 8000 mats for cats. It's a deadend street.

To those ppl saying a good lvl200 char is better then a lvl250 one. Hmmmm. Try to hit melee vs melee a lvl250 toon with a lvl200. Just hit it with melee. Or try to use OM, and look for the resists. Then tell me if lvl doesn't make any big difference. You can be uberwise and uberintelligent, if you just can't hit in PvP. For me pvp in this game requires numbers and higher levels. And in smaller part brain, organisation, leadership, strategy etc. But number and levels first.

Anyway, my main point is: I'm rambling because I see the cats system as flawed. I want anyone responsible out there to hear my voice too. I hate the cats system. I see it as fundamentally flawed, and I blame the devs for the current situation. (heh I found the bbcodes) The system needs changes that strengthen the balance, not to weaken it any more.
