Any time players are forced to take part in PvP or be denied non-PvP content (outpost products, sup forest mats, bosses that only exist in PvP areas) then anything that happens to them is at their expense. Coerced consent is not consent.

Yes cause we all know you HAVE to take part in PvP *rolls eyes*. Sorry but that has been argued and proven to death as being completely untrue.

No, it hasn't.
So long as content is locked behind PvP, PvP related to that content is not consensual. The situation in the PR has somewhat changed but it is still true elsewhere.
Proof is outposts etc, what you're trying to assert is opinion.

And you seem to blinded by a vision that never was in the first place but which is usurping the game that was. If you think PvP isn't fun at other people's expense you have a severe disconnect from reality.

PvP is consensual, you accept it when you decide to access the pvp related content, the content is there to be fought over, thats why its pvp content...the fact you dont approve is basically your own problem, take it up with the devs. Dont troll everyone and anyone who condones pvp.

Don't be an arse to everyone who doesn't like it.
So long as there's pressure, it ain't consensual.
End of.

Though PvP combat was the only option intended to exchange outposts, the community also exchange outposts using Diplomacy, and buy/sell them as a commodity.
So I guess this can be seen as forcing the PvP players OUT of the Outposts section of Ryzom ?

troll troll troll..........usual anti PvP crowd........blah blah
nothing new to say for the 10000th time,
PvP is pastime many ppl like to participate in, just like roleplaying. I dont/cant force my PvP on anyone and in every case where I do PvP the victim has chosen to tag/enter a PvP area/own PvP related content.
Ring was the big "RP" content, go play with yours and we will play with ours.
haha neutrals = morally superior.........I like that one, almost comical

And neither do the PVPers. If they didn't spew the same nonsensical parroting time and time again it wouldn't need to be refuted time and time again. Its like arguing with a YEC >.<

Erm, that's the very nature of the beast. It is a forced interruption. I thought we'd got past that block a while back.

The rewards aren't active yet and we don't know if they'll equal the PvP crowd's stuff. Kitin nest we're also waiting on, plus the rewards are majorly borked compared to OP content. So the issue at heart remains, Ring or not.

Many a true word spoken in jest.
