I'm thinking that if the RPers (and indeed all of us) can dissasociate this event from RL halloween and imagine it as something wierd happened that week, we could then create an annual festival that IS Atys based to celebrate/comommorate the something wierd that happened.

Just a thought.

If events of this nature don't happen on Atys, we will never HAVE anything to comemmorate.

Not my stance... but... a lot of people are pretty hardcore about some interesting and varied things.

I personally would rather see a holiday based on Atys... not RL. I've never really been that fond of RL bleeding into a game. Kills the immersion. But, it's not like I am going to go get me pitchfork and all that.

Exactly my point ... wel, more or less. I'm sure Nevrax would never be so crass as to introduce pumkin-headed kitins (yes I know it was a joke, but same point) into Ryzom, so just try and forget that its halloween out there:just mark Slaughter Week in your Ryzom calendar
