Seems if that is the case, we'd want to try a little harder to get the devs to change the mechanics so it'd just work that way. It'd be a lot simpler and cleaner. We'd also see huge guilds form, and small or solo guilds leaving.

Is that your ultimate aim here?

I would love to see it as GvG, and each guild could only own one OP... (if you successfully attack another OP, the loser gets your old one).

of course, I would like to see non PvP OPs, but hey, we knew that already right?

You can compare lvls and all the rest of it, but at the end of the day xera has layed out his intentions and he can only hope GoU are up for a good fight. If RotS and GoU where to havea guild vrs guild battle the winner would prove themself the worthy owner of the outpost, not the guild who sucks up to the best friends...
That said, i have alot of respect for both guilds as you both know.

Zahan, most guilds aren't all that huge to begin with. No one said they're a teeny little guild unless you know their exact numbers. If so, please do tell.

Xeraphim, forgive my ignorance but I don't know that phrase. I did try to google it (yay for google) but I think ya spelled the first word wrong? I did find out what nepotism is. And honestly, yes, I would favor someone because of our "relationship" (we are friends and allies) even if they aren't high level l337 peeps. :p

@Red. HI RED. :p

I suppose the question then is, what price do they pay for being part of the alliance? Since they depend on the alliance fighting for them I suspect they pay a high price ... or mayhaps the rumor I heard when GoJ took the op is true (that they are alts for high lvl Karas).

Yes every member of GoJ is in fact one of my alts...

I wanted to have at least some OPs that could be won over depending on your fame with said tribe in taht region (through missions and whatnot). But then I'd like to have tribe fame really mean something. :(

High price? Alts for high level karas?! Jeesh, talk about conspiracy theories. They don't pay ANYTHING. Oo; But no use arguing that to people who already have their mind set.

No, at the end of the day, it's a matter of perspective. RotS believes a GvG OP battle would a better battle but GoJ prefers otherwise.

To you, it's a guild to sucking up. To us it's an ally who has asked for help.

EDIT: Thanks Red...xD

Oooh, thats juicy! KA got so many OPs they need Alt guilds to deal with the crystal influx...

Ambika: Well, from the looks of it they certainly arent that big, otherwise they wouldnt be so terrified of facing RotS one on one. *points to various points in the thread where basically the GoJ turn down a challenge cos they say they are too weak*

What is all the fuss about, you asked for it to be GvG and they said no, why then did you continue to declare on them and try to force them into it on the forums?

Um...No. That's not a very conclusive rationalization. oO;

They can be a guild with mainly diggers/crafters. Weak does not equal small numbers. Weak can mean that the people in the guild may just not have the high level dig/craft. Or did you not read any one of my posts? -_-;
