Oh yeah, sorry bout that.
And to get ON topic, the kami are outnumbered atm as far as ive seen.
But, that is usually the way things are in all online games.
When a side is winning, alot of people join that faction to get on the winning side.
Which makes MORE people join and so on.
But then someone/something/a guild comes along that goes on the loosing side because they wanna fix it.
That faction starts winning, and everyone suddenly changes faction to that side therefor changing the balance the other way.
Has happened before and will happen again.

It seems that this is an old discussion, and that people have let tempers run wild and feeling have been hurt. This is not my intention.

I have decided to accept the fact that there is a great imbalance. Karavan don't want to admit it, nor relinquish their _earned_ rewards. Kami may be a bit overzealous and dramatic with exxagerations of the imbalance, and even hostile with some of the Karavan.

But as for me, I've decided to create my own guild and not be dependant on Outposts for my enjoyment. If I am offerd them, I will gladly accept. But I will not go asking. If my guild grows, and maybe one day we can conquer an Outpost... we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Thanks for all your concern and your replies. Sorry to rehash old hash-browns.

Oh, and for a plug:

Intensions - is a Kami guild based in Fyros currently recruiting :)

Thankyou and be well.

good luck moiraine :)

It is a huge responsibility to lead a guild. May Intensions find happiness and prosperity under the light of Ma Duk.

I usually just think that people that say that ego means a issue is naive.
Its not a bad thing, ARROGANCE is a bad thing, but ego isnt.

Since there is no inate (game mech) imbalance between Kami/Kara, I'm not sure how the debate can get further than the obvious and valid observation that "More Karavaners actively seek out PvP" (or whatever wording you prefer...they are better at it, have more desire for it, are warmongers...whatever)

If that is true...one of 2 things seem likely to me: Karavan will turn on Karavan in OP conflict (if not for the benefit, then for the sheer joy of PvP) or...the "demographic" that were previously drawn to Kara, will join Kami (Re: Me). Not neccisarily for the political viewpoint of Kami, but simply because it will be the easiest way to get a fight.

I just want to point out that Kami have made many many more outpost war declarations and Kami are typically the ones coming to Yrkanis looking to start a FvF tag fight.

If Karavan were more "into" PvP wouldn't they be declaring the wars and picking the fights?

Your claims are anecdotal, OP ownership is empirical.
