That theory isn't bad, but cannot explain how they need to tweak this bug. "If" I had something in my hand, the only to to get rid of it would be to voluntarily destroy it. This is not the case here...

This needs to be looked at ASAP, it's not a show stopper, just a fun taker... The stealth changes always seem to go down badly, these must have been tested by folks that don't have a varied way of digging.

More closer to how it works (realistic) is you are digging a spot and "exposing" XX mats, at the end you pick them all up. Only thing in your hand is your pick...

I spend the majority of my time digging as well. This patch was just painful. But I hope this is not the beginning of a new trend I have seen in other games that have fallen by the way side.

All do it.

Which completely prevents me digging effectively.
It happened to me when i activated melee aura protection ....which is really necessary when timmies pull mobs on you :P

Did notice at the time of the patch it didnt say it was gonna be fixed 'soon'. The sys info msg at the time said something like, 'oops we did this by mistake it will be fixed in due course'. Cant remember the exact wording, but it seemed to imply fixing would take some time. A response from Nevrax on the time it will take to fix this would be nice....

Can't respond to this query because they're digging and don't want to drop their mats :)

I believe I remember seeing something about the fix being bundled in with the next scheduled patch (whenever that will be) but I could be wrong.

Indeed I posted directly in the news comments about it. The correction will come in the next patch, which is currently in test. However I can't give you a date as the test team has not validated the patch yet.
