That sounds pretty convincing that the Matis guilds gave him crystals, but doesn't seem to say anything at all specifically about other trykers helping him (granted he may mean the Karavan Tryker guilds, but its impossible to tell just by reading it )

So with you, Tryker or Neutral is ok in the Lakelands. It seems like others are saying ONLY Tryker. Maybe they could clarify their positions.

Geniastrid, we did and do sincerely thank you for your recent gift of 9 outposts materials and flowers. These were some of the first and only outpost materials that we have seen. I am sorry that Pero omitted these. He was speaking about crystals, I believe. The majority of the crystals that we have received have been from the Matis.

P.S. I must admit to being ignorant about the relative value of op mats and crystals. I don't know how many mats owners are drilling, how likely these mats are to work or even what benefits they have really. So sorry for my ignorance.

After reading all this i see peoples RP getting attacked and called stupid pretty much and other making good points about why they shouldnt attack and should ...I personaly am glad they have an RP reason its better then no reason at all concidering this is an MMO"RP"G i wont be on either side cus im out of game atm but I don't like seeing someone shot down for there RP..
One of the biggest reasons I had against a past action was no RP reason...

Having your own OP and having a part that is shared is not the same thing and newbies are always hungry for crystals even if we do not encourage much the usage unless it's for people with very limited playing time...
However in our guild it is frown upon accepting free crystals outside inter-guild arrangements as we, the leadership, really love people who offer free gifts just to ask something in return afterwards, or publicly gloat over it. As for begging I dare you to name a TS who did this.

Just this once, I present these ideas with the utmost respect to all involved. With the exception of Kye's comments, everybody has been fairly reasonable. With that out of the way, here goes:
Don't be fooled by the usual shadow games played in these forums. Let it not be said that these forums are special in any way. Trolling, mud slinging, and flaming is just as rampant here as anywhere else and even worse at times. I see here all sorts of reasons for this attack and it seems to me that they are mostly hot air. There are two real reasons for this attack and both are quite valid, in my opinion.
1. Some OmegaV members attacked a Nexus member in Umbra. I wasn't actually at the location where it happened (though I was in Umbra), so I only know the details second hand. I can't say whether the act was just plain mean or one of retaliation for an aggro drag. Either way, if this is the reason for an attack by Nexus, so be it. I welcome the challenge in the face of adversity.
2. We have something Nexus wants. Nobody needs to explain that to me. I have maintained a certain amount of discipline while dealing with my fellow Trykers, but my allegiance has always been to my guild and to my faction, first. My first instinct is always to attack first and ask questions later. I never thought of Nexus as anything remotely bloodthirsty, but hey, more power to you.
I recommended and promoted the original attack on Whirling Stronghold after much conversation and what many of us thought was understanding with Kenshiro. There was never any doubt that our motives would be constantly questioned or that we would see plenty of action. However, by winning and holding Whirling, we have been able to share regularly with Ballistic Mystix and Aeden Artisans, which is more than enough reason to have performed the action in the first place. We were the first guild on this server to win an outpost from another guild and we have held it longer than any guild who won theirs in PVP conflict.
OmegaV has ever been a guild by the members and for the members. We truly appreciate and care for our allies. There is no question there and I think we have shown that time and time again. That said we always try to present our guild as a 100% unified front. While I did not necessarily agree with a PR attack on a Nexus member, I would never have let that be known in character and in game. Any of you who would not do the same as a ranking member of your guild probably do not understand what such a group is really all about.
So... Geniastrid, if you wish to push this challenge, I welcome you with open arms. I did try to bring our guilds closer together on several different occassions, but you wanted none of that, so it seems the glove has been thrown down. If you are up to the task of removing us from our outpost, then by all means, do your best. Don't expect us to back down or to fall over, though. We will fight to the death to hold what we paid so dearly to obtain.

A very noble idea I'm sure, if a bit overly suspicious in my opinion, but I have never asked for anything in return from anyone I have given free crystals to, and I have never "gloated" over doing so. I simply mentioned it today as a counterpoint to your statement.
As for naming a specific member, it was a couple of weeks after my guild first got ownership of Psykopla Knoll. I honestly can't remember specific names (of people I probably have only seen once) in an event that happened months ago and I apologise for that. If I can remember later on, I'll be sure to tell you
i can add that Evo has given ql 200 and ql 250 crystals freely (not 1 :1 trade) to unguilded matisian and tryker karavaneers, just cause we dont trade with you AA doesn`t mean no trades are going on. Even given freely to KA members. Not gonna mention names cause they dont deserve to be brought into this silly arguement. Stop pointing fingers at people.
There is some time drift going on. The discussion lacks a clear time line. As such I think there is a risk of running into some unintended interpretations. Things are very different since mid-December.
I fully believe Geniastrid is doing what she thinks is best for the Lake Lands and her Guild. I will do the same. No one gets hurt in these outpost fights, no permanent injury, no DP.
The only place we are wounded is here in the forums.
