Well.. Merry Christmas to all of you too!

Completely in the spirit of Christmas it seems some people decided to do Episode 2 all over again.

Seems a lot of IC and OOC in this thread again (regulary in the same post too), a lot of twisting and turning, and people who hide behind roleplay, etc.
(I always thought General Forum was OOC, and Saga was IC, but i am probably wrong.)

For the involving Guilds there is no winning anymore, I think. Only losing, as AA seems to have lost a lot of respect by the way they played this, and their HOPE alliance does not seem to agree completely either.
BoH loses too, even if they keep the outpost, as their leader is being called 'whiner' and more. (which only shows how bad Noin knows Kenshiro, as it isnt a title that fits Kenshiro)

As the outpost are GvG best would be if only BoH and AA would fight it out, but i bet everybody will just laugh at that idea.

Like Aylwyne said, so much for the chance of having battles over outposts while still keeping the community positive and friendly...

What fits Kenshiro may not be what he is portraying in this posting... This is my experience with him to date....

As for hiding behind RP, go away.... The game is made to be FvF, I have no interest in that outpost except that it is Kami... It is game mechanics... not RP that has put us in a siutuation where everyone cannot hold an outpost.

If you cannot have an outpost battle be a game, do not hold an outpost. They are there to be challenged for whatever reason anyone wants either in character or out of character.

I say again, IF YOU CANNOT HAVE AN OUTPOST BATTLE BE A GAME, DO NOT HOLD AN OUTPOST.


Neutrality is once again in question, because as soon as anyone that is faction aligned sides with you, it must be of concern to the opposite faction. If you want to remain neutral, don't let aligned people come to your battle on your side.

And lastly, for this just being a big PvP, FvF mess, I think quite the opposite... Once war is declared there are many ways at your disposal to avoid the said war through negotiations. Also, the limiting factor of time in these scenarios(an outpost battle taking 3 days to complete) and the limited factor of actual battle time (4 hours total at most) lends me to believe still, that these are the best PvP implementation I have seen.

P.S. Kenshiro could be a great guy either in person, or in character, but all he is doing in this thread is whining that you are taking my fun... I didn't call people to defend, etc.

IT'S A GAME stop being so damn whiny about it.

EDIT: I am quite positive and happy, I just wish the others would be. I think the battle will be great fun for those that can attend.

all interested parties turn up at the op and have a good fight! this thread is getting silly now, lets just get on with playing the game... and maybe in character posts should be made in the saga section or if here clearly marked, then there will be less confusion

Ryzom never was like you say(fvf).

Respect someone and the talk about him and without offend someone.

I believe that ryzom is a small image(society) from real world.
So if someone says that he/she rp i think at least one at the time he/she plays here will act as he/she would in real life.

Respect is what you gain and not what you demand.
I think i'll leave the rest to say if Hawks have gain their respect.

i think you have to give people more time to adjust. it's a big change for everyone and there are bound to be some bumps at the start before things settle down.

PvP is just a game mechanism, it's up to us to make it work in a way thats as fun and acceptable as possible for the community

Normally i don't meddle in these kind of conversations...But for some reason I feel I have to.

Riveit ,we passed a lot of nice times together,we helped people out ,and had a lot of Roleplayingfun.What u do now is not Roleplaying.U are looking for an excuse to justify your needs.
Since when does one of my exmembers need other guilds for going to war?Even since when do my exmembers need a war against a fellow exmember for personal interest ?Even the idea u fight someone who belonged to one of yours pains me deeply...Since when do we need alliances to go into discussion with a guild of 6 people...

Band of Hawks is worth having this outpost ,since u need other guilds to obtain it.
What is wrong with being a karavan ,or even a Kami if u need each other to obtain the same goals.

It is indeed a game,and the outposts have these consequences,but if u read all previous posts u must choose what is wrong or right for the community...
One of the main reasons for my staying(and mayb leaving) this wonderfull game...And of many others.

Well I cancelled the attack on Whirling Stronghold in Loria. I did this on my own.

I am sorry that the Band of the Hawks were offended, I meant my words only as RP justification and I truly have the greatest respect for Kenshiro and the Hawks. I love all the old Illuminati and hold no grudges.
