Uh oh!
I think that will mean no trips to Pyr anytime soon for me!

The Southgate snatcher strikes again! With Aelon Ibiseuss condition showing no improvements, as the key witness in the Southgate snatcher he case can do nothing but suffer as his assailant abducts more unfortunate souls
A restless Sergeant Ulyros had this information to release to the public:
Jongi Ba-Lon of Zora was staying in Pyr over night on business when he was discovered in Bath lane in a comatose state. After talking to witnesses who had seen him earlier in the evening, Jongi had apparently spent many hours in the Pyr Baths with a young un-named Zorai woman.
The young lady has indicated that Jongi returned to their room first and when she later made her way back, she was alarmed to find the room empty and unlit. When several more hours had passed she reported the incident to the Pyr guards who subsequently stumbled across the prone body.
The victim, like Aelon remains in a profound state of unconsciousness.
We are appealing for any eye witnesses to come forward with any information which may shed light on this most serious case; we will offer you our full protection in exchange for any relevant assistance.

So we're looking at a total of 8 victims.
Surely that's 1 male and 1 female of each race? Perhaps the Investigators should use appropriate bait, based on those facts? I know that's dangerous for the Homin involved but I have every faith in the ability of Pyr's Guards.

EDIT:
Also has anyone tried matching the victims to the Homins mentioned in the letter?
I'm guessing that the one that stays in the grand hall was Rosine Antosi (Female Matis) as she worked at the palace,
The one that the Guards may save could be Aelon Ibiseus the paralized man (Male Fyros) who was found in the doorway as he's "merely" paralized and may be cured in the future,
The one that sidles up to me could be Jongi Ba-Lon (Male Zorai) as he was getting cozy with the "un-named female",
Bile (Female Tryker
) could be one that doesn't rhyme a-right as she does not have any surname - tenuous but it kinda works.
I'm not sure where Xyrila Aedon (Female Fyros ) - it's possible that she "sought a cozy doorway in the middle of the night" - but likewise that could apply to Aelon and as we seem to know the least about her disappearance, she may yet be a hostage and thus save-able by the Guards - which is kinda confusing.
That leaves a Male Matis, a Male Tryker and a Female Zorai left if we hold by my first theory, which must be the one which takes it from Five to Four, the one which "sets the town alight" and the last which is the most fun of all. Possibly.

Once more Pyr has been shaken by screams of an defenceless Homin that has been taken by the foul person naming himself The Southgate snatcher..
I was sitting at the Kami TP in Pyr as it be a place where many Homins pass by, I was waiting for my beloved.
Then I caught a small glimpse of a lady, she was tall and smiling. She was dressed in darker clothings that seemed to have been worn for a long time and not washed recently.. they might have been of Matis origin yet I am not sure. As I cannot tell the color of them either.
though, her voice, when she talked I heard that she had been through tough times, yet she was strong and wanted to continue. But she told me that she was lost, that she had been wandering the streets of Pyr for over a year, yet now she had gotten lost in the many walkways and smaller streets. Her map was old and not trustable she said.. She cried.. she asked for help, somehow she regretted that she was alone and poor..
As i tried to find her, running around while trying to hear from where her voice came, her crying, she seemed to be approached by someone...
Someone she did not want to see.. I ran as quickly as my legs could carry me, I asked Rashan to help me find this poor lost Homin before it was too late...
Then we heard her voice, loudly.. and terrified as she screamed out a firghtened "Noooo"... then all that was left was silence..
It felt as the time itself stood still. Where was she, was she well ?
We ran around looking, screaming her name Abyribus but there was no answer, there were only the ordinary sounds of Pyr and silence.
Another Homin was now lost.. and this foul and ill minded person could continue his evil deeds..

yes... Abyribus...
I did not know her... nor will I ever after this.
I was on my way towards Cerakos Gate. Coming from the bath-house I walked through Arispotle Avenue. At the very end of this avenue I saw a girl... a woman running by heading down Cerakos Avenue.
This was Abyribus...
Drakfot's description of her is probably more correct than any I would attempt, as I only saw her in the corner of my eye.
Not much more than one minute after this "spotting" I heard her crying and calling for help. She told us of how lonely she was... and lost... and while Drakfot spoke to her and tried to find out where she was, I ran back into the streets of Pyr to look for her... Soon, Rashan, Drakfot and Mioette caught up with me...
We covered a large part of southern Pyr.
Personally I concentrated my search around the bathouse and Southgate road, as she mentioned that "somehow she always ended up on Southgate"... I also covered some streets west of this location... but nothing... nothing at all...
Something that troubles me very much is... ... that all the previous victims were taken during night in the cover of shadows... this last one, Abyribus, was taken in the morning... in light bright enough to rend torches useless.

I have a small suggestion as it seems as things are changing rapidly.
Can those that have been close or talked and seen the Homins that have been abducted please gather up sometime somewhere?
I sense that together we might be able to pussle things into place.
Perhaps at a calm spot where the stirr has not such grip as it has in Pyr.
Do this sound resonable to you my friends ?
if so, where and when could we all meet?
Everyone is welcome to join us in this.

The first I heard was from Rashan, when he told me that someone was in trouble in Pyr!
I teleported over, and immediatly heard Abyribus crying out. I joined the search for her in the streets of south Pyr, seeing Drakfot, Rashan and Derkesthai also searching at the same time. We were unable to find her before she screamed that someone was attacking her, before finally falling silent
I never saw the lady myself, or anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
Maybe the attacker uses the rooftops to move around and retreats to them to avoid pursuit? It's not easy to get up there (and I couldn't do it now) but as a child I used to play up there when my family was in Pyr.

Homins, heed my words! Once again the streets of Pyr prove to be harsh and forbidding. Tonight Homins learned why they fear the dark - Cold, alone and afraid; one Homin's fate had been ruthless snatched from her hands and been unraveled at the twisted joy of another
We have not managed to uncover many details on the latest Homin
kidnapping. We can however reveal that she is a Fyros going by the name of
Abyribus - or Abby to her friends. Abby is known to the Guards as she
had been sheltering in doorways on Leanon Street for many months.
With the latest events within the City walls, each night we have been
taking her to the cells to provide her with a safe place to shelter.
Although we are not sure of her past, Abby had spent the last few years
begging for a living on the streets of Pyr.
On returning to my office I also found a letter placed on top of all my paper work it reads:
Sergeant Ulyros
Imperial Square
Pyr
Heed my words!

How easy is it to access your office? This might suggest it's an inside job by one of your own guards!

As I glanced at the letter, I took a quick passing by Ulryos office to hand in what little information I had, I noticed that it seems as some words are written with larger letters than other in the sentences. Is this a clue we should keep our eyes open for ? How do the other letters compare to this last one regarding this ?
The words I could see that had this odd writing is :
attention
disturbing
need
interrupt
work
merciful
hasten
task
I realize that I was still taken by the happenings last night so this might be a trick that a tired mind and my eye played on me last night. Yet I feel that I would like to share it in case of that it might hold some clues or importance.
