It used to be. But not anymore - now it's most damage.

Biggest gripe is PVP, dont cair for it, never did. Other than that, i have to say that the fact Guns still suck is rather ircsom

1. Ever since october (+q60 harvest) the harvester + curious herb + hungry aggro = dead harvester scenario.

2. Not all tp working

3. Huge mat wastage in crafting, either succeed or fail skip the partial success/degrade

4. They bypass armour massive damage/insta-kill attacks of many mobs

5. The relative irrelevance of faction fame

6. The sheer volumn of aggro mobs

7. herbs drop far fewer mats than carnivores/kitins

8. The background story of ryzom being largely immaterial to everyday gameplay.

9. The copy/paste of matis, zorai and tryker towns compared to capital, unlike the more innovative fyros town make ups. also the location of fyros towns to the centralised towns of the 3 other races.

I'm pretty happy with everything. I do get annoyed at how long it takes me to move stuff around. I would like to have a way to group all my melee gear (armor and jewelry) together, all my focus gear, and all my mage gear and then press one key to equip each set. Maybe there is a way? Please let me know how to do this quickly!

[clarification: I'm not complaining about the time delays, I just would like to simplify all the clicking about when I am getting ready to go out on a hunt or dig.]


The combat stanzas need some reworking but that has been discussed elsewhere.

Hmmmm makes sence to me:-

The Fyros are a warrior race and have no fear of high lvl regions and position their towns to benifit from hunting and scarse water resources (Oasis and springs)

The Zorai are wise and wary positioning their towns close to high lvl regions but still within the relatively safe and only Goo free zone

The Matis are imperialists and like to have their settlements close to their King and power base , courtly duties are very much part of their lives

The Tryker are free spirits and have positioned there towns where ever they liked lol

Well I left because of the patch 1 bugs and bad design changes. So barring that happening again

I'd have to go with the lack of usefulness of affliction spells.
Lack of Dynamic content as promised (and I don't mean PvP)
Lack of roleplay items/interactive terrain.
Too short fights (it or you are dead in 3 hits)
Foraging missions
Senseless allocation of mats in most of the world
Useless forage stanzas
Repetitiveness of foraging with nothing to really look forward to
Level (Rather than stanza) limits on foraging trees
Barebones feel of Rites

I so agree with you Ali, but I have a problem.

I like cake.

And some of the recipes that get put up just sound so damned good! I reckon we need an off topic thread with all the cake recipes and then, when someone posts one in a topic where it doesn't belong.....

we can tell them where to go.
