Most of the wealth is made by selling directly to NPC, not to players, except extremely good items whic are sold hand to hand or in auctions

heh yes :) my first thought was to think of something similar to 'Kami Tolerance'... so if you have to sell items, go sell them elsewhere - g..looking for that lost hawker becuase no one uses to sell :p - but it comes with its own set of problems

Limiting max price means that either a) People start running mektoub trains or b) the shops become some use again, especially for materials purchasing meaning some money will get sunk into there.

umm ghuiss would like to see a player mission type npc giver type homin. some chap who stood in the vacent malls in zora who said "bring me the heads of 50kipees (q52) ill give you on behalf of ghuiss a umm a "sword or big gun" and some erm dappers.

maybe even a bounty hunter mission npc eeeek.

maybe a trade chat channel would work too?. anyone looking for work or giving work could bid. Ghuiss says "just going down the job center".

back on topic.

maybe dappers could be used at "crafting stations" to up the sucess rate.

thing i hated about SWG was the paying for learning skills thing after playing ryzom before hand so that might not be new player friendly.

the ghuiss's casino, stripclub, najabbskin smoking and tea room is always a good dapper sink :D .

I'm not sure I see what you mean. People storing have little impact on the buying and selling of mats, and I don't see them cause I use price filters. If I cannot buy resin now, in what setting a max price will change that? I'd rahter suggest a meaningful way for harvesters to spend their dappers so they sell what people want.

And Mektoub trains? well, unsure about that too, but I wish it happened more, I loved to see that in the trailers.

And of course... What do you think of PvP?

People storing has a massive effect on the buying and selling of mats by making it hideously inconvenient to get any because all anyone does is use it as a high price storehouse.

You can go to Dyron or Thesos stores, generally the ones with the most mats in the game and buy, perhaps, 8-10 lining a visit in most circumstances. Meanwhile something like over 1000 lining is sitting there in storage at something silly like 100,000 dappers a mat or something.

If you cannot buy resin now, setting a max price that is acceptable to purchase it at (500% was pulled out of the air, but seems reasonable) then it can still be used for stowage, but even the mats being stored are relatively affordable.

I use filters too, but the storage issue is still annoying and they really shouldn't have allowed it IMO.

I can't stand PvP in general, unless linked properly to event or RP.

A small sink would be if i could place a order at the merchant. Like there is no reisgn better then q130 in store. So i place an order to buy 200 reisgn between q130 and q200 fine to choice at a max price of xxxx dappers. As soon as someone is selling such i get a notice to come and get my mats. No problem with perpaid orders :)

One or another player might even like to deliver outstanding orders. Cause they should be browsable public but without the name of the one who placed the order.

If we could SET missions for people to complete, and then pick up the results (if any) that would also be nice....

"Mission: Jyudas of The Samsara really hates digging, to the point where he is pulling his hair out and is willing to pay large sums of money in order to get some. Retrieve 100 lining of QL160 and above, Payment 800,000 dappers"

:P

limiting max resale % will only hurt crafters and general ingame activities. In the past i have made 100/99 daggers and sold on the ingame markets. I set the resale at several 1000% which gives a total price of 1mill or so. Whenever i put up perfect or near perfect items they sell within 24 hours usually. 500% markup on such an item would be a joke tbh. the item i made after many hours of boss hunting and digging supreme mats would sell for the same as a light vest made from choice mats dug right outside town. It would force these sales out of game which i think is a bad thing.

Mr Ghuiss has a nice idea, and the npc's could take a cut as well, maybe 10% of the dapper value :)

umm not that ive done much but selling mats above q100 at maybe 150% is very profitable
