Bounty Beaches has been Breached a couple times by a team of Tryker, fighting through the southern path. It took very careful coordination and hours of attempts by old MMORPG players with a lot of raiding experience (ie zones with mobs much more powerful than players can get). Last time we escorted a group of Zorai back. Matis and Fyros have fought through the northern Trykerland connection at the same time. I'm sure it will be common knowledge soon that raid forces are crossing our borderlands now.
I talked to support again, and still maintain that it needs corrected JUST as fast. At the very least, Tryker harvesters/crafters that can't make the trip are still crippled (this would be the reason for an immediate fix, IMO). I know of two people that have crossed BB solo without aggro, but after a few solid days of obsessing. There are far more good gamers that just gave up after many many attempts.
The rest of Tryker is still very unbalanced.
Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Bob, you mentioned you were able to find sources between level 60-150? Where? Dewdrops only has ql 100 mission sources, Resting waters have ql 150 mission sources. There are no other places in the main areas with normal mats above 50. The steep jump from 50 to 150+ sources are kind of hard on some of us that play casually. I understand some people have made it to 100+ in harvest but how many hours were they playing? Yes decay is the main problem. You spend 3 hours getting enough mats together to build a suit of armor above ql 50 and it falls apart in a day. If the decay rate wasn't that fast at least it would not be a problem. Those of you under level 70 melee just don't realize how fast armor falls apart from the higher level mobs. They hit hard and fast and make swiss cheese out of your armor.

In which case I was refering to Loria.bobturke wrote: I agree the lack of Dew Drops q100 spots is a bit of a set back, but there are other places to harvest q100+ mats.
Not sure about the q50 --> q150 mat comment as it doesn't make much difference if you only pull q99 from a q250 source. Does it?
I agree with all the rest of your post.

I am not certain if you are speaking about any mat (harvested or quatered) but I was in dew drops this morning and was taking ql 60 and 70 mats off the lower mobs there. I wouldnt dare try to harvest there so I cant speak th that. But you can definately get quatered mats between 50 and 100 at Dew Drops.korin77 wrote:Bob, you mentioned you were able to find sources between level 60-150? Where? No this is all about harvested mats. I think general agreement is that there isn't much use for quartered mats except money and crafting practice (and desperation )babaloui wrote:I am not certain if you are speaking about any mat (harvested or quatered) but I was in dew drops this morning and was taking ql 60 and 70 mats off the lower mobs there. Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Actually I often use quartered mats for practice. However getting the exact right mats for practice is extremely hard. All the mobs that drop armor parts in Tryker land drop them rarely compared to weapon parts. To build up armor crafting off harvested parts therefore is tedious. It can be done but just very time consuming.
I noticed in matis lands its very easy to get quartered armor parts. If we had those mobs maybe it would not have been as painful.
I have tried to harvest in Loria. 350k debt later I was still unable to get to the mats. Lets say I was able to get there then what? Can I harvest there enough to get rid of the 350k + of debt so I can actually gain xp? I tried to harvest mission points in dew drops for xp. However that quickly ran out.

Yes. You do not spend the entire time dodging agros.korin77 wrote:I have tried to harvest in Loria. 350k debt later I was still unable to get to the mats. Lets say I was able to get there then what? Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Lets see... 4k debt removed per source... 350k dp will take aproximately 88 sources. Each source will take about 1 min to prospect and harvest and recover. So I need to spend around 88 mins before I start getting xp. Each time I run there, thats an extra 88 mins. Of course this won't be counting the times you spend dodging and dying to get there.bobturke wrote:Yes. You do not spend the entire time dodging agros.
Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
Let's stop the bickering about having to forage in the borderlands for q51+ harvested mats. Yes it can be done, at a great cost. But the fact remains, no other civilization has to. It does hinder the casual players more than frequent players. Amassing a 700k+ dp just to get a bunch of q100 mats to work with should not be the case. Having people come and try to 'help those po' Tryker' by selling gear that we should be able to make as easily as them is wrong.
This thread is not about bickering. It's about reminding them that they have admitted they are working on the problem, and it still hasn't been fixed.
Take whine and counterwhine elsewhere.

Re: Tryker lacking greater than q50 harvestable materials.
A Matis, Fyros and Tryker were in a car heading down a hill when the brakes failed. The driver managed to get it stopped by using the gears and a convenient dirt track.
All three jumped out and after peering under the car the Fyros said, "I see what the problem is and with this handy roll of duct tape I think I can fix it good enough to get us to the next town". The Matis quickly interrupted, "No, no, no. Before we do anything we need to decide on a vision for our future, figure out a plan and assign individual deliverables". At which point the Tryker said, "You know what, I think we should push the car back up to the top of the hill and see if it happens again".
