the merger of the 2 servers makes a lot of sense now all we need is to see the boxes on the shelves the game advertised everwhere even newspaper ads the main prob with ryzom i feel s not enuff ppl know of it and boy they are missing something special.

The ingame community which is so nice is gonna double and the events that happen are good already imagine all the americans piling in as well that will make sum heavy work for the ppl who write the events and as david said the teams have been expanded iv always found the csr team to be reliable and friendly and very helpful so more of them is a plus in a way i wish them well if any of them read this as its all change for them too and we can only hope that things go from strength to strength as i for one would be lost without ryzom and its perticualr place in my life at this time

all the friends i have ingame and the guides which always say hi and always seem to have genuine concern for how things are with you not just your player char but are generally one nice bunch of ppl

the combining of the 2 servers to one new shard will be a challenge and i bet the region chat will be a fun place to read

plus the fact the upcoming expansion too that has really wet my appetite and increased my willingness to stay with the game we must all be positive David Cohen belives in ryzom he is one guy id like to meet to shake his hand in person to say thnx for the whole effort and inspiration that has led this game from a drawing board to a full blown world online with twists and turns at every corner recently it seems theres some evil chars around( the last event was amazing i really enjoyed it ) these in turn are bringing the game into a new light gone is the grind and now there is a renewed sense of purpose ingame and it is a lot more enjoyable to see maybe a 100+ players walking in a group that was something id like to see a lot more often showing any of the other online games where the players are at and showing where the real players need to be and that is definatly Here in Ryzom

and on a final note a majour congrats to Jolt for getting the whole job of doing the support i bet that was a real well recived peice of news for the jolt team

Hello all from around the world and across the pond. Looking forward to the merger and meeting everyone on the EE server. I just got to find something to wear for the occasion lol, my red fyros HA with Matis HA pants or maybe some nice black Matisyian casting armor. Decisions, decisions. Got to look good for all the ladies you know.

I guess you will, 'cos since I got my Shieldsmith title I get orders every day! There are very few dedicated shield crafters on Arispotle, in fact I don't know of anyone except myself! So we will share the market mate!

I have read the second letter of Mr. Cohen and I have to say: thank you Mr. Cohen for being open and honest! It must have been very hard for you and rest assured, most of us loves SoR as much as you! Thank you again!

I hope that this reorganisation, which was needed, no doubt in that, will help SoR get it's rightful place amongst the MMOs. I hope Nevrax can now grow up for the very hard task, to make things even better. I hope that one day we will have enough players to open new servers, and... but I should stop dreaming...

Anyone tell us whats happening on the French boards?


Hope they get this right, do new players trust a game after serve merge? Enough to replace those that leave because of it? Oh well have to wait and see, didnt expect to end up playing another mmo with "potential" especially not one released in 2004.

Just FYI, Everquest announced 18 server merges. But I'll admitt I get 'Horizons' flashbacks.

Presumably that means they had at least 18 servers to merge

DnL release for april 2005 was canceled. New releasedate is november 2005

One of the reasons:

"...and to rewrite the elements of the game engine that were too slow and lacked the flexibility required for..."

Many SoR players there on the forum. I think some will come back. And if its only for 6 months

So ppls.. leave me at least one spot to harvest after merge
