In reference to people saying that the User channel is useless :::
Sheesh, you people REALLY dont explore the possibilities of hitting 'U' and changing colors, and tehn right click on teh user window and changing what channels are open in user.
Not to be harsh, bu read your user manual, and if that doesnt help, ry rigt clicking in the different chat windows.

BTW --
The only channel I can think of that we need right now, would be 'Merchant' or something akin to that name, a way for players to sell goods without having to spam the general public.

Region chat seems very popular and I think it gives the community a nice feel. I do wish we could ignore certain players on it who constantly spam etc.
The Ability TO MUTE Region Chat from USER PANE would be very nice
for Removing the SPAM and vulgarity from my game experiance
The suggestion that FRIENDS list be a SEPERATE CHANNEL similiar to guild
is an AWESOME suggestion allowing for GUILDS to share a channel by adding each others members to thier lists.Mute would be simple .. REMOVE the name from FRIENDS LIST ..
BTW i feel REGION chat tells should ECHO in AREA . The thought of trying to switch my chat to another channel just to say Hello to a passing friend while in combat just doesnt cut it.
Finally IT would be so NICE if the CHat windows could be set to OPEN on MONITOR NUMBER 2. There is absolutely no reason for mouse to be restricted to WINDOW boarders. Players dont use edge HOTZONES to move or rotate camera so the edge restriction just keeps our screen cluttered. Remove the EDGE boundaries and many of use dual monitor users will get to DRAG those chats off the screen.
But my main reason for post is still I totally agree that a friends list channel would be MY FIRST request for an additional channel. I believe it will improve relations with guilds improve trading improve grouping availabilty and provide a channel with CONTROL over whose text you see and whos you dont.

Muting region (or any channel) is easy. Activate the user channel tab and right click in the space to the right of the tab. A filter list will pop up. As to the vulgarity, that's a violation of the EULA (see section 12) and a report category under the support tool. If you feel it's a problem, report it. Just be aware that the CSRs are the ones who determine what does and what does not qualify as vulgarity; so, even if you're offended they may not (depending on the situation) take any action. You do have a final recourse though. You can mute individual players by typing /ignore playername in the chat window.

Unfortunately ignore is not working properly.

Odd, been working for me. You can't use the friend dialog ignore as that doesn't function but /ignore does work for the current session.

Just a little hint: the game seems to be severely restricted in the raw materials department (at least for me).
I'm part of a guild that's trying to be utterly self-sufficient, so that all of our money stays in the guild or goes to merchants, not players "on the outside". However, to do this, we need to have FOUR harvesters for every one crafter to keep supply of materials even with demand. Perhaps if the harvesters pulled more materials in a given amount of time, or if the crafters took more time or less materials to make items, it would balance this out.
Also, for those players who try to hunt for raw materials to craft with, more frequent drops of lining are sorely needed. I've been known to spend 12 hours trying to get enough lining for one full suit of armor. When it only takes 2 hours to get the rest of the materials, it's just a wee bit unbalanced

Suggestio here...can someone from Nervax create a summary of all the changes, answers and responses from the developers. Also, can you have a forum which just lists all of the posts by any developers/official Nevrax party. It would a great way to keep up to date on any official discussions and such. AC2 website has this and it is much loved.

Main things I would like to see in patch one or two is the addressing of the lag issues, the Tryker racial issues (materials on mainland, and guild missions being given by Matis??!!).
I would also like to see the resource node tracking get a makeover. For instance, it should NEVER track a node that is depleated or over your skill at prospecting (if you have basic skills, tracking should ONLY ever take you to a basic node, etc). I would like to also see a directional indicator added to it.
For instance, 25 m EAST of your current location.
As much as I would like new tattoos and hairstyles, I don't think that this is a patch two or even THREE item, until other issues are resolved this one should be MUCH lower on the priority list.
I am still VERY much interested in a BANKING system for basic storage. Sorry housing is NOT the answer, I think housing should exist, and should have MANY advantages to it, but I don't think that storage should be the biggest one.
