On a side note..
Has anyone noticed how a poll for the use of all 3 communities(english, french and german) only have a total of 879 votes.(yes the new animations poll)
Now id like to remind people how i pointed out the forums isnt at all representing the majority of players?
*leaves thread for good now*

You keep dragging me back here dont you lol
Well if Nevrax wants to have another experiment, one about major impacts to gameplay such as this pvp concept.
I think it would be interesting at the very least to make it into a server contest, give some cheap price like a mousemat and add some fame or ingame item to that, the poll might even become close to how the majority of player base would feel.would be interesting at the very least.
Anyway i love how Nevrax made last experiment, al 3 communities and a poll largely advertised, only 879 people show up, says a lot to me.
-How is it a contest? well people that voted what the poll had as endresult would be going into a hat to become a lottery matter for the winner.

Minority turn outs don't make any difference in real elections, just make people wring their hands.
Those motivated enough and interested enough to vote, vote.
They could have promoted in with server messages though.

oh yes they do, people underestimate their power of voting.
If you dont vote your vote automaticaly goes to the largest party.
we've seen the effects of that in the UK and in the netherlands and im sure in other countries aswell.
EDIT: sadly were seeing a trend here that its the majority that doesnt vote.(or at least a very large minority, such as a little less then half of the voters, or nearing a 3rd of all the voters)They gave up hope in the choices there are, they feel as not having impact and a multitude of other reasons. Not realising that that means their vote goes to the party they are against.
Thats why in the netherlands they tried to make a party for people that dont feel there is any choice worthy of their vote. Their slogan is vote:NO!/vote against!
This is a failed experiment tho, partly because they became a real party and partly because people still dont think they have any impact.

Maybe just maybe part of the experiment was to see how much people would show up if you tell them beforehand they have a direct and immediate effect on course of actions. That was the first thing that slipped into my mind reading the word experiment on the original post at the poll.

@baxter
the tone of my post #384 wasn't ideal i'll give you that, but to be fair neither was your argument

The point however still stands which was that digging in lv250 pr zones is not impossible, and thus q250 supreme mats are not being denied to those who dont wish to enter umbra.
Sorry, I don't see your point. In the time frame you give, you should have been able to get around 1000 more mats, and not die, especially if the death occured while simply travelling between spots. I maintain my position.
