If you start charging for res just don't expect to get res'd for free or at all by others.

Just as an aside - in other MMOGs I've played charging for res (or buffs if they didn't have a res feature) soon died out when no one else did. (25k max anyway - the price of 2 tickets with 0 fame).

I've a feeling the practice of charging for res. will soon die out anyway.

I realy can't get this people why would u want to be alienated by the comunity
i hear some are saying its roleplaying, well there are consequences for that don't forget them.
1. The person who demands money for res will be identifyed sooner or later then they can't get res by other players
2. they can't get armor weapons from players unless they can buy it from mearchants.
3 In PVP zones god help that guy :) if he comes across some of the guys he demanded money for res i think he is going to regret it.

Interesting point ... how do these people collect the cash?

Can't trade with the dead......!
Once alive they can't kill you again, unless in PVP.

So say, Yep 20k's fine
then dont pay em!

Good point, but doesn't that make you as dishonourable as they are? :)

In my book it would. I don't believe in charging for a res personally, but if someone asked for payment to res, the dead person agreed and then didn't pay... What was that about two wrongs don't make a right?

The bestest thing about this community is its self policing!

If someone is 'bad' the word gets out and they are sorted.
If someone is 'good' the word gets out and they are asked for help.

What we must always do is be prepared to forgive and forget......

We all make mistakes .... to hold one bad deed against a person for the rest of thier life will mean that they will have a short game life.

So always give people a chance, good may go bad and bad may become good.

That, my friend, is probably the most important point made on this thread. :)

Very true indeed, always best to remember that people do make mistakes, we're all human.
