would it be too much to ask for someone to keep a log of the event? simply raring/zipping the log.log file would be sufficient too, since i can filter the chat out of it =)
the reason why i'm asking is that server barriers do not allow me to attend, and i'm kinda curious as to what your event team is cooking up :D

This will always be an issue for every online game. And there is no possible way to accomadate for this. I am sorry you were unable to attend. But RL > any game, no matter how you look at it.

And I would like to personally thank every single person and guild who helped in this Pilgrimage. It was truly a magnificant feat, that would never have been accomplished without everyone giving their time and efforts to make it possible. I salute you.

I missed it this time, but I hope you do another one sometime in the future. Nice job.

It was a wonderful trip. I commend zzeii for all the organizing and leading it. I didn't join up until it hit Yrkanis, there were a few problems not caused by anyone on purpose. After all you can't help if your computer crashes it happens. Tho I would suggest assigning a group of people, that would go back for people lost along the way. They would be the only people who would be allowed to leave the group. When the group hits a safe place then they could wait until the rescue group catches up. Of course it will have to staffed with some of the best melee and healers as they will be moving without a group.

But I know it was so hard to keep everyone organized and not to hit something which happened a few times. But with a large group like that of different personalities and some who had been on for many hours I am sure was getting really tired.

Again it was great. Thank you to Zen, Fuzz and DT for saving me serveral times. Also thanks to oh I can't remember his name, started with a S but he was trying to get help to us who were laying looking at the ground in the back of the pack. Thank you again all for a great day.

my email is mithaldu@yahoo.de and many thanks for your efforts :)
btw, seeing as it's raw text i'd really recommend packing it, if not at least to conserve your upload bandwidth ;)

I believe this is an over-view of the event today:

I'm not doubting that the players did a wonderful job of trying to get people across and they should indeed be commended for it.

As for what is it going to take.... That's really simply. How about some support from those holding these events to make them at least in someway reasonable for players to attend.
