When they take out the fun factor and makes my affliction mage (lvl 145)
totally useless it's just not worth it anymore.

Linked spells now drain all my SAP in less that 50 seconds (bugged).
I miss with 98% of my spells (on the mobs we used to hunt).

How much fun do you people think it is for us who used to play the game
8-10 hours every day - to find out that all our hard work has been useless ?

And people who are at lvl 30-40 stop calling us whiners and complainers !!!
You can't possibly imagine what the game is like for us now so just shut it !!

Try re-rolling and getting to lev 30-40 again, so you'll have fun :)
the simpliest solutions are often the best

The patch has it's good points and bad.

Fighting

Good Points - The Kitins are now better to fight even the small ones actually inflict damage.

Bad points - The Gingos are way too hard in the damage they cause.

Note - I have not tried a Ragus yet so I can't comment on that. The people that like all these changes probably are at a high skills level. people like my self melee 58 will find it almost impossible to stay alive if fighting 2 scowling Gingos at the same time, if fighting 3 or more which is often the case then I already know what the result will be. My main concern are for those with a level 20 - 40 as most of these will not be able to survive even 1 scowling Gingo. And as a result they will probably get tired of SoR and leave the game which, will be bad for everyone. Personally I think they would have been better to make the Kitins harder but have the left the Ragus and Gingos in the Majestic Gardens alone. The other areas outside the Majestic Gardens belonging to the Matis, if they made these harder it would not matter as much. You need a place where new arrivals to the mainland can develop properly and not bore them to death.

Magic - Can't comment as I have not tried it yet with the patch but the magic gloves seem cool.

Trading - I will not list good and bad points here as I actual like the trading system, but I do have 1 concern relating to the 100 items in 7 days. This concern only deals with selling materials as we tend to sell a lot of materials no one is usually interested in.

Crafting - The reduction in some crafting plans specifically ammo and jewels is definately a good point. I don't really see any problem in this area.

Harvesting - Now that they have increased the source time to the maximum, extraction is a lot harder even when using gentle on everything. I'm a level 72 forager and before the patch I could forage and extract with 600 focus with having to stop and sit down. Now however, I have 850 focus using same techniques I do 2 extraction and have to sit down. The materials were the same types ql 50 before and after the patch. Is this a good or a bad point time will tell, but it does mean that those people who have been playing since September have a very large advantage over the rest of us.

Dont bather selling the crap-suff an your 100-mat limit. I unchck the box for that opion when Im selling ragus bones etc. That leaves me to earn some extra (K) = Money! on the good stuff! The tradeingsystem is awsome if they could remove some of the info in the merchant window I think.

It seems that no-one likes this patch because they can't go out and kill the mobs they were before.. That is kinda the point surely? Do you all want to reach the level cap next week? Yes its harder. And yes imho that is a *very* good thing.

Yes, yes. I couldn't agree more. This game is supposed to have an 8-year storyline, and to have that kind of longevity, the Devs should be pacing the leveling process. The problem is that many players believe that because they pay a monthly subscription fee, they should be able to dictate the game mechanics. You know, it always says on the box for these types of games that "experience may play during play," or something like that. If you don't like that possibility, maybe you shouldn't buy the game.

OK, so blind is now working as it was supposed to. But does anybody actually KNOW what that is??

Can somebody please explain to me how blind is SUPPOSED to work? :-)

Do you really think the investors going to pay of a dev team and gms and server power time for a cuople hundred players playing for 8 years?

Are you all liveing in a dream world? If their is no players willing to play it like it today they simple have to change or hope the new player don't care.

Aye I could not agree more. Investors and share holders care about on thing and that is to see a return on their investments. And for those of you living in a fairy land world (seem to be quite a few of you around) - even with the current player base (not counting all those who quit yesterday) the investors have every reason to be worried !!
