what about the people who doesn't like grouping up? that is forcing someone to play the way YOU want. that's a big no no for a mmrpg.

I'm not a harvester but I've been watching the flow of chat in klients and it seems 50/50 atm. Stick with us guys, it would be a terrible shame if we lost any of you

PPS. Law has posted else-where on the forums tonight about changes to harvesting/foraging. The patch has been in place now for a few hours and already the devs are responding.

Tell me now the devs don't respond to us.....

yeah I agree with you. Thing is if thats the sort of game they want to develop then fair enough. They should have made it more obvious in the literature but I don't see it as destroying the game.

I'm certainly not going to tell you that 'why would you not want to play with lots of people in a MMORPG' - thats your choice and there's lots of games out there that cater to that. If this is trying to be something a bit different then ok, I'm willing to try it and it looks like it suits my style of play more (I don't like solo-ing as I personally find it boring)

You've been playing for a few hours have you left the Newbie area yet?

I really loved this game until now. I played my lvl 145+ affliction mage and had great fun doing so. This is sadly not the case anymore. I could spend as much as 8-10 hours every day: exploring, hunting and teaming with friends.

Now I'm about as powerful as a trash can. And it's not so much that they changed the way blind works - it's more that fact that it fails over and over and over again. Making me virtually useless in any team hunting for hard mobs.

Magic gloves Q160 and upwards won't be on the market for a while and right now the game just isn't fun anymore. And if it's not fun it's not worth paying for. Many of my friends feel the same. It really is a shame what they have done

I wonder if it's worth loosing many hard core players because of this - somehow I think this patch will hurt Nevrax more than it helps ! You can say a lot - but this game does not have a whooping amout of players !!

If they had actually added some content apart from the odd invasion and "craft this armour" "or kill ...." Proper content that maybe groups could do or guilds could do then MAYBE people wouldn’t be that bothered about leveling up. But no they decide to patch it n make everything over the odds in all aspects imo.
My personnel view atm is that we are paying for a advanced beta thats all, a lot of these things should have been sorted in the betas(in fact errrrr what were the betas for?...lololol),and unless it sorted pretty soon im not going to pay for a game that still very much beta and so are quite a few of my friends.
False promise's spring to mind I REALLY enjoyed ryzom everything was fun and u also had the option to solo OR group but that option has been taken away, but now I think they just ruined it there were several ways of stopping ppl lvling so fast but still enjoy playing but sadly they seem to have chosen the wrong ones

Yup, im 105Melee/100 Harv/70 Off mage/50 Def mage.

I was really enjoying the game until this patch I'll play out my 2 remaining subscription weeks but think i'll decide against renewing, i cant wait the 5-6weeks for patch two and some actual content, and the rebalance for this game changing patch.

I was kinda hoping they would sneak in some actual guild content, or solo missions with this patch, as it stands there is not enough to keep my interest, and my ability to solo even mobs well under my level has gone. I enjoyed how tought i thought my char was, and now thats im not, well the fun isnt there anymore, and thats whats important to me, im not one to grind in game i no longer find fun

Im not particulary mad, i had a fun 2-3 months, its just where nevrax is taking the game isnt really what i want to play, im sure most love it though

I'd love to, but right now im very busy with work and social things. I used to log in at obscure hours and have a bit of fun solo-ing an hour away. To be blunt, i cant do that anymore. The lack of any kind of mission, or guild content means my interest is rapidly going to other more casual friendly games. My character now feels weak, flimsy and incapable of what i did before, im not sure i want to go back to haveing to kill kipee, yubo and gringos

I still have 2 weeks on my Subsciption left, if they tweak this huge gameplay changing patch to make the game more accessible to me ill happily re-subscribe. If not, well there are too many good games due out in the next month to justify me keeping an open subsciption here. No doubt if i do leave ill pop back next year and see how things are going.

As i said, im sure most love the patch But for me, its a step in the wrong direction.
