blah, so time for history behind this OP and the Night Hawks.

Night Hawks was started on the cho server , they were a karavan guild
Night Hawks moved to Aris, they went kami because back then the kamis were underdogs and karavan owned 80% of the OP's on the server

The old SO called kami alliance which was just a bunch of guild fighting each other most of the time because half of them just wanted to hug and kiss there karavan friends, doh!!! that sounds like the current kami state, guess things don’t change, anyways back to the history, the old kami alliance which Norb/night hawks supported for a very long time promised them the 150 ql op in the jungle, he was asked by them at a meeting what op he wanted and then promised the 150ql op which he chose as soon as WoA got a higher ql OP

Night Hawks left the game as most other people did when the game kind of went down, in that time WoA got a 250s op and gave there 150 op to KT ( KT - dead kami guild which was run by chi zeta and stun) KT also had a 200s and a 50s op, So three ops all up.

When the game came back the night hawks did as well, and Norb asked for what was promised him by the alliance, The so called - mature - community of the kami alliance backed chi zeta fully in saying no that she didn’t want to give up any ops, So another words 3 OP;s 50,150,200 to a guild of 5 people was fine and breaking there promise to a allied guild how had supported them for a very long time was ok as well.

After much flaming and fighting on the forums no solution was found, because KT wanted to be greedy and keep all three ops.

KT broke up and just to spite Norb and the Night Hawks Chi zeta made sure that FFi got the 150s op as soon as it was handed back to the guards.

I was there as a witness and the people who said yes we will give you that op were the same ones that said no when Norb asked and stood against him.

So you the so called mature community can work out your own view from here, I have tried and failed to solve this dilemma, even to the point of offering to exchange 150s outposts with east dyron swim team {FFi} So that in the end I could just give The night hawks what was promised to them.

Also I have to agree with Inifuss it’s a game, like we really need more rules, guys outposts are meant to be won and lost, not property that you own for the duration of your guilds history, these things are meant to be fought over.
Lack of war between the factions creates a stale mate which will raise tensions when there is a attack because people become friends instead of having a enemy in the other faction as the game mechanics requires. Sure I have Friends who are karavan but when it comes to war we fight each other on opposite sides, we are on the same vent server laughing at each other but we fight for our own faction.

I would like to agree with Nit-wit here in that it is a game.
And I think you'll agree that when I feel froggy and get my lazy ass off this hill I can come grief you in PR and you won't have **** to say about it right??
Using multiple declares as a confusion tactic is one thing, guilds declaring over and over with just one member popping up in region to say hello is total crap and it is harassment.
This community is way too small for people to go around acting like asses.

Nitro there’s a part missing from the history as you tell it that I’d like to understand. Perhaps it’s missing because you don’t believe it to be true. Me… I have no idea. But what’s been told before is your same story with one difference as follows:

The servers came back up. The 150 OP that Norb had been promised was ready to be handed over and they waited 3 weeks with no Norb or his guild to be found. So then after waiting 3 weeks a new owner was found instead. MUCH later on Norb came back to active status and demanded this OP, and he’s now repeating the same thing.

IMO, if this point is true, Norb can’t expect this OP.
But if that part of the story is not the whole truth, Norb was screwed and we the Kami community should be trying to solve the problem.

However, even if Norb was screwed, this has nothing to do with the current owner, and the current owner should not be penalized or held responsible. So solving the problem includes Norb changing his attitude and being willing to cooperate too.



Now since this likely is never going to be solved by pure diplomacy, what would be simple is to go with your point about OPs being meant to be fought over. There’s several Kara OPs with owners barely active. Why doesn’t Norb go after one? I’d help, and I’m sure others would too. No need to have Kami attacking Kami Heck we need more action so let’s rumble!

I 100% back Nitro's statement. The current "cold war" status sucks for the newer and smaller guilds, as it forces them to suck up to the powers that be and puts them at an additional disadvantage when recruiting. Also, it's frankly just boring.

Outpost battles are quite possibly one of Ryzom's biggest selling points, and a unique feature to Ryzom, but on Aris they are practically unheard of.

the OP was given to KT before the server went down. They had already announced that the game was going to be shutdown and most people left. So who ever is telling you that part is just full of it.
And yes he was screwed over.

Ok so he was screwed over according to some. I’m not trying to say otherwise or judge that. But does the current owner have anything to do with said screwing over? Should the current owner be punished?

If not Norb needs to be part of diplomacy to solve this, or simply use force on a target where he has chance of support and chance of winning.

It's no great surprise that there's no battles anymore, there's almost as many outposts as there is people playing.

Ffi knew, that acceptance of this outpost from Chiz hands in the ownership will make a "beautiful act"... she knew it and she do it... ouch, i apologize, certainly she an innocent victim of Kami Toukons insidiousness...

diplomacy, diplomacy... silly politics of kami, diplomacy was one year ago... noone from kami alliance (without Nexus guild) was at Night Hawks side... what changed now?.. kamis forgot about that story (or hided from other kami?)... Night Hawks just fallen kamis guild for all you... "Night Hawks betray kamis community, not kamis community betray them"... that do you says for others... =)
