hahaha you've all been punk'd, i think this forum is a psycological test by someone with a very sick mind..... they just want to see how far you can make nothing go...... prolly getting a nickle a hit for web traffic and makin some of their loss up

As a experienced web developer and a webmistress, I would say that they can't possibly earn anything right now. They haven't placed any advertisements on the website nor on these forums - how can they earn any money from the traffic? ^.^'

If anything they are loosing bandwidth.

From my assumption right now, they are simply waiting for Ryzom's bankruptcy and negative impressions to die down - only the (sub-)contracted developers do not have the knowhow on how to set up the forums and kilents behind the scene. If it was me I would have created a second copy of the forum and worked on it, same for klients - it isn't really difficult to disable access to a IRC shell.

I wonder, how long do you think it'd take spiderweb to set up a new payment plan? Whats the legal status to go with that one? maybe they need to work with banks or summat?>< lol

I dont think that it would hurt them to let us know if they are having problems. You never know; we may have a bank manager or 2 here who could help.

Perhaps the director of marketing does not start his new job till August 1st

A new owner of Ryzom prob also means new devs and coders and stuff. My guess is they are learning how every thing works and trying to figure out how to maintenance/develop the game. And I can imagine its a lot easier to figure that out, without having to solve costumer problems too.

I'm still waiting with confidence, the longer it takes, the more work they are putting in it (at least thats how I see it ) (and for my PhD it would be better for Ryzom to stay away for a while still )

but if it takes another three months, im going crazy

edit: oh yeah and what abizmal said too... Tomorrow is a new month, who knows what happens (might be next week too tho).
And that reminds me, its a year ago the probs with GF started...
