Can you imagine something weirder than Atys?
The home planet of Jena or the Kami?

I'd prefer if they added lands to Atys itself. The old newbie lands (as vacation resorts for Highbies ? As a transition land between the Newbie Island and the capital ?) The Canopy, the Kitin Lair, maybe some frosty mountain lands where mobs that we've never seen before live. Or some swamps with new species of Kitins and lizardy creatures.
All kinds of things. We all love Atys, why leave for another planet ? What would motivate homins to do that, and why would they come back after the events that triggered their departure from the gigantic rootball ?

Beats me. All of a homin's magic and foraging and crafting skills would be useless on another planet.
Oooh, planetwide extinction event? After 10 years of exile, homins return to a post-nuclear Atys?
But I agree there is little point in other planets until we've seen all of Atys, and currently we've seen less than 5% of it.

LOL Kalindra..... Sounds like a home retiring place for very tired uber-old homins.......
"Looking for group to help run afta darn yubo.... took me fake teechths while i was digging bachic zchun"
Maybe it is what Nevrax planned for expansion; retiring mansion for multi 250
No more uber mats, no more sup.....
Camping Kirosta to get walker, wig or fake leg back
*autoslap for silliness*
.....Sorry..... not

That made me giggle.
And we still have to re-conquer and re-discover the lands of our ancestors, that were talked about in the lore. Those from before the Kitin invasions that forced hominity to seak refuge in the Prime Roots.
Old Matia, Old Trykoth, or whatever they were called. I'm sure some crazy trekkers would love to find their way to and through such lands.

The annoying, sad part is that all that lore-based content, the 95% of undiscovered planet, the different root layers, old lands, 8 planets, children, aging, etc. etc... all these "features" are, unfortunately, *mostly vaporware* e.g. they don't exist past a few drawing board sketches, or concept art.
Other than a few unactivated skins, 3d models, etc. basically WYSIWYG... any of those mentioned things (with maybe a few exceptions such as walkable roots) need to be implemented and can be considered without hesitation as *major additions*
Do not think that there is a *huge repository of almost finished yet waiting for the right moment in time to be released things* because there is none. The only thing actually looking like that is the Kitin Nest, and requires lots of work (GF dumped the idea). Let us rejoice that we may be able to play the game "as is", even if the "The saga of" part was dropped in the process...

Would not dare to correct any of your post Anissa....but
The only thing I would correct is the "the": GF dumps ideas.....
That is GF sig and traces....
Please do not speak about GF......
GF is specialized in dumping ideas and making things all the same.... Korean MMO FTW....
This game really need some visionary management ..

That's almost what I do think, actually.
No, not as huge as the 95% of the planet and the different root layers and canopies... that'd be really huge. But if I look at all the features that we were told were "almost finished", "half finished" or "being worked on" over the years, and that we never saw anything of.... I can't help but think there
is a *
big repository of
half-finished features* sitting around.
Granted, a lot are features we didn't want and were cancelled at our own request. Like the spires, and the Silan-like quests on the mainland. But at this point I'm starting to adhere to a "just finish and implement it already!" line of thought. It's better than half-finishing something, then cancelling that and starting on something else, and repeating that ad infinitum, which is what our previous owners seemed to be doing most of their time.
But it is ofcourse possible they interpreted "almost-finished" and "half-finished" as in "the first step is most of the work", and those features are nothing more than concept sketches.
But even then there's some things we know are there and are just not being used, like the armor models and a bunch of regions. And as long as it doesn't majorly effect the existing gameplay (like spires in their proposed form would) I don't think anyone would object if those things were added without being polished to shining perfection first.
