You are sick Jessie... sick, sick, sick... *huggles*
And put one of them between each region - so treks have to go through the hell of level 300 Kidinak and Kincher.
/evilgrin

That way there will no longer be overpowered - and lets face it, Boring - treks just because 4 CG/AoD/melee-whatevers got together :p

or atleast risk it - give us back the danger and excitement of trying to sneak through areas no homin has any right to be ;)

P.S. Put sup nodes there so we have an excuse to walk alone into hell wearing focus LA :D

it would be nice to actually have something that really requires us to use our 250 combat skills, actually. its perfectly possible to trek across the whole map with level 200 skills, the only times I have really needed my high-level skills is when killing bosses with far below the 'optimum' number of people (well, and PvP too, of course). It would be nice to have a reason to use some of my 250's a bit more.

if you like dp you can always follow me while I "sneak"

jacks definition of sneak - + parry armour, + 34 sheild = run through the middle of every mobs ignoring them

I want to re-emphasize the single most important change to Ryzom, one which I don't think anyone will argue:

Power switch in ON position.

It´s no matter of power, the servers seem to be running, Aniro and Leanon at least, it´s the login-server that needs to be fixed! :D

Forgot to add the thing I most would like to see changed (which I have mentioned a few other tiems on this and other forums), which is that we ahve a pretty unique skill system, where we can combine elemnts to make up our own spells.
So give us some different and interesting options!
Currently healing is mind-numbingly boring, as all you really do is sit there and spam buttons (yes there is some skill even here, about when to use bomb heals, when to cast, etc, but not much really), nuking is much the same and melee is barely and better.

The system promises the ability to make up your own unique skills, with hundreds of possible combinations. In actual fact this is stretching the truth to breaking point.

Well, if you use one and the same "max. dmg." stanza all the time, or your teams are always exactly balanced to what heals they need, that´s true.

But especially in Melee there´s plenty of variation to be had if you just look a little further than hitting the next mob hard enough with maximum damage to get to the (preferably maximum of course) XP in minimum time...

And apart from AoC, witch just came out with this "new system", witch other game does it better?

Any ideas to make it better? :)
What to do, I ask again. Don´t just complain, give ideas!!! :)

I never found healing to be boring at all, except that I stayed so busy I couldn't type as much inane chatter as I would have liked.

I had a whole bar full of heal actions, different combinations of range/power, doubles/singles, bombs/not-bombs, combinations of HP/sap/stam, so I could use the most effective for a given situation - and I was constantly adjusting them so I could keep going without stopping or running out of sap/hp.

I found it far more challenging then tanking, frankly. On the other hand I liked tanking because I could chat.

*Autoattack*....chat chat chat blah blah blah *taunt* blah blah blah chat chat chat *taunt* chat chat....OK, pull another....

Agree, healing is very intensive job, requiring lots of different spells and desicion making in real time :)
Always was founding tanking (melee in mob hunts if to be accurate) most boooring =) nuking atleast requires spamming of spell button :D
