snif,snif,snif,..., nobody supported me for a MOB free day once in a while ....

-Eciresworb kicks a small rock in dispaire
-small rock hits a yubo that starts running in pain
-yubo running blindly hits a tree
-a few fruits fall down the tree and hit a yelk making him uncounsious but triggers its defense mechanizme and a toxic gaz is emited
-a group of caprini runs in fear of this green smoke, going in several directions
-a group of wild dogs (forgot the actual name) preparing to hunt down one caprini loose their pray in the process. Getting angry they start looking at the homin
-one caprini hits a kitin who then gets hungry for being awaken so brutaly. It kills the poor caprini in one blow but when it looks around and finally realizes that they were all fleeing from one point where in its center is the poor homin. It decides to concentrate its anger toward that poor homin
-slowly the poor homin is being surrounded by a bunch of angry wild dogs and one mean kitin
-the homin realizing he only has 30 sec to live, start to cry, falls down on his nees and yells "Why can't I have a MOB free day like right now ? Mother !!!"
-[censorship prevents us from telling the audience the horrible images and sound emanating from the next sequence]
-2 min later, a small RIP sign remains where the poor homin was
-so to prevent any more homins from being horribly tortured, please vote for a MOB free day !!!

We do not have any power of decision in regard to which suggestions will be taken into consideration, that's up to the (future) devs.
The only thing we can do is to make our suggestions as clear and convincing as possible so that they will give them some thought.

- Dynamic threats to the gameworld, as per the bandits and tribes but by Kitins and Marauders with real posibilities of setbacks. fe: have the Kitin nests build up in strength in their lairs and if not kept in check by the player population you get massive assaults on the towns. We're suposed to live in dangerous times.

This is a great idea. To actually have the mobs multiply in a region if you dont go in that region and have them start spilling over and invading other regions to where we will have to mount attack parties to reclaim regions from aggressive mobs...not only kitins but also regular agressive mobs.

Outposts/Guildhouses- everyone wants more storage space correct...well outposts have spaces for future buildings to lets make it so we can add to out outposts to add more storage to them...we can build warehouses to store cats in and gear.

Outposts- make outposts more defendable lets build gates and walls and make them outposts!!! Right now they are just drills with a building that looks like a stable. lets fortify them and make them stronger...

Armor- a variety would be better and also the botany skill could be used to make dyes and such to dye armor so you can change the color at anytime...and combine them to make new colors.

Experience Trees- lets expand them alittle more sure...and if they dont want to expand to lvl 300 just change a few things at lvl 201 for instance...you could make the elemental tree more expansive by splitting it at 201 to specific spells, fire master, cold master, and such but i know cooler names then that huh?

BOSSES- lets make some boss fights interesting...right now we just go in and slaughter the bosses...lets make them stronger? more dyanamic? make them so that they do other things then just attack back...like maybe they will take off running when they are low on health and you will have to chase them thru the aggro and such that swarms to protect them to fight them again somewhere...and if we make it tougher then make the mats worth more...better stats (maybe new class of mats only droppable by bosses?) or have them drop more mats since it will take more people to kill them.

Factions- lets make factions more a stand alone entity instead of all of us working to together...i know that certain times we do and its part of the story line but make it so Kami cant fight for Karavan in op battles and vice versa...make it so that the factions (i know this is something to do with spires) but make it so certain factions can own regions and other factions can be attacked in that region if you enter...but not all regions only certain regions.

thats all i have for now everyone has mentioned alot of great things and with all this we can have an awesome game

Agreed. IMHO, ideally, once you "tag" PvP (opt-in) it could be "free-for-all", both in attack (Kami attack Kami) and defense (Kara heals Kami). To me, this is maximum freedom, leaving room for interesting politics, etc. Add penalties w.r.t fame if needed, but don't constrain player choices. There should not be "faction pvp" or "guild pvp", but different levels of opt-in, until the maximum level that would be "pvp enabled". You can be killed by anyone, anytime, anywhere with the same level of "opt-in".... and of course, there should be friendly-fire, and hostile-heals....

The negative side is that it adds lots of complexity to game development, but adds realism (Napalm nukes that kill this homin in front of me, but I remain full-health?).

In summary, in a mature community, game mechanics should maximize player choice whereas politics, RP and faction commitment should reflect player behavior.... I'll keep on dreaming tho :D

I think that it removes complexety from development but social life will become impossible, cause there are no mechanisms like laws (or they should be developed) for punishing... how can i after friendly fire go to for example my faction leader npc and say and proof that someone killed one of his own kind and should be killed on sight of guards now? O.o I vote for social rules hardcoded into game... (the ability to talk in different chats/channels - is in fact one of such hardcoded social rules) :)

My purpose in starting this thread is double :
- give something to the community to positively talk about
- whichever company that might buy Ryzom might see this thread and be interested in all the comments/suggestions being generated

First of all, level cap increase to 300. 1 new lvl 300 land for each of the 4 races, somewhere new to explore with even bigger scary mobs :P I'd like to see the level 300 lands as pvp enabled to anyone with a faction.

Some more story line regarding the goo, since day one playing ryzom outside zora the goo was there always just on the side lines, some way of being able to kill it should be brought in, and if you don't keep the goo down it will grow more and more stealing more once green land.

Kitin invasions are fun (its a fact), but some way of players being able to trigger them would be cooler, with the kitin lair there should be some method of causing all the kitin to flood out into the main lands. Say if you kill the boss inside the kitin from the lair around atys would start to move on the capitol cities. Now tell me that wouldn't be cool :D

Outposts should have exp cats removed as a reward, it speeds up the game far too much, bringing in unique missions for OP owners which lead to new crafting plans, special looking guild only items. If you own a magic pole your spells should do 10% more healing or damage! If you own a stronghold you should be able to do 10% more damage in PvE. Nothing major but cool enough for people to still want them.

I'd like to see more ways to spend dappers, a simple way for me would to be add a little something to our crafting system, say you make a lvl 250 supreme axe, you should still be able to add to it in my mind as a lvl 1 and 250 items look the same. A combining system would give the opportunity to those who like special gear to combine two of the exact same stat weapons together, giving a few % stat boost but also changing the looks of your weapon slightly with a success rate of combining at 10% and the cost about 10million a pop it would keep people who search for good items broke. Combining stage can be maxed at 5 or 10 dosn't really matter. (idea brought straight from 12th sky).

Events, i like games which have alot of dev involvement, for example a boss spawn event in ykr arena, a dev could spawn 3-4 lvl 270 bosses for everyone to take down and try and get some loot. Exp events, with cats out of game a chance to have double the exp would be nice, double loot, or even 150% harvest time, every mat you would normally get you get 1.5

I could add to ryzom all day long in my mind, that said ive been here since it opened and never been far so what the game already has was awesome.

raising the level cap is THE most STUPID, FOOLISH idea anyone could have EVER.

just think about the actual implications of that please, before you blurt out more retarded things like that : /

just look at wow and their level raising efforts. Effectivly killing all content that existed before hand.

In a game like ryzom it would achieve ONE thing and only ONE thing: more F****** grind. THATS IT.

just felt that needed saying, and i hope ppl will screw their heads on a little tighter from now on :P

New lands, new recipes, new global event stuff is all good tho :p
