Sorry but i simply *have to* say something hehe... The red underwear i know of is the one you get when you log out naked: Next time when you relog -for as long as you don't put anything else on- your underwear will be red (or purple).

That qualifies as an exploit.

Or at least as a bug, and I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to post details of those things here, since it allows you to gain something (temporarily or not doesn't matter) that you normally shouldn't be able to get.

I've been playing Ryzom since a long time (April 2004), i don't know when exactly i noticed this for the first time, but for as far as i can remember, the 'red underwear' has been possible.
I always thought that it's a nice extra feature/something and have never even considered the posibility that this would be a bug or an exploit.

Can a CSR please enlighten me?

I have the same opinion about the scripting functionalities of the ring, but apparently the CSRs don't.

An exploit is a volontary act against the rules... logging out in underwear can be the result of either crash, accident, mistake or pure distraction. And it seriously doesn't require any heroic achievement at all... plus it doesn't give anything apart from being red...

... and to be honest, I thought it was just common thing instead of a bug. *shrugs*

Well it did happen to me after a bathing evening in Pyr. And to Sunce after he crashed during a training session in undies... same difference if someone does it on purpose. It just HAPPENS when you log out naked. Nothing you can really do against it to prevent it from happening. How can something that happens regardless of your be called an exploit ?

And... I like fireworks too... they're pretty.

Sure, it's no problem if it just happens, but they can only do it on purpose when they know (usually by being told) how it happens.

doesnt have to be Q1 like some are making out, some of it is bonafide gear

I got a better armour than the best possible crafted q200 boss armour stats wise but that isnt the point xtarsia, the point is some people wanted to do it anyways and some clever ass decided to spawn them. Not to mention the shedload of pei/lixie/aen(probs not worth it)/sergio armours.

hope hacked gear = permaban, end of, wont happen tho so.........
