The effort of getting Ryzom GPLed is not that hard as the Linux project in its first times. btw if the devs or GF France or GOD reads this, please, be intelligent and open your market to a language that is spoken by cents of million people: SPANISH. For sure that all this mess will be fixed. If i were in GF i'd tell to al the company: HEY! ARE WE BLINDED?!?!? MILLIONS OF SPANISH AND SOUTHAMERICAN PEOPLE WOULD LOVE TO PLAY THIS AWESOME GAME!! Let's beg for a credit bank and wait for the profits. Man! it's so simply...

The formula:

Credit bank + spanish server + great marketing campaign = profits

I assure you that all the spanish people that i met who loves MMO, hates WoW, don't you gonna make a chance for all these people?

That doesn't help now does it!!!
Its not that hard to translate everything into chinese or have chinese available translator hubs in game.
Asian communities would love Ryzom, I think it would work well there.
Anyway panic ye not gang...we've been here before haven't we?
