Without taking a stab at either side, I just want to make a point :)

I see the phrase "It's just a game" bandied around here alot.

To alot of people here, Ryzom is not just a game, to them Ryzom is a way of life, its like an alternative reality (I mean that in a positive way) to them.

I know of some people here, going through extraordinary crap in real life and come to Ryzom to just get away from it all.

So please, the next time you feel like throwing "It's just a game" at someone, think before you say it.

Ryzom is NOT like other games, never was, never will be.

You mean kamis who went karas? You are wrong then, all those who switched just fed up with kamis whining all the time :)

You mean directly me? You are wrong again. If you read my post with /brains on you will understand i didnt need cats anymore after lvling almost 5 masteries without(almost).
Wasn't talking about neXus. For the rest, if the shoe fits...

neXus went kami when the kami side was the most comfortable one ? funny to know :)

and attacking an outpost with your new faction support one week later....of course it was not for cats, just for fun...or to give it to the community ?

You are lucky to find it good now cos most long last players don't. You never had the chance to experience Atys when it was still cats free and inhabited by a loving community whose only trouble use to come from one guild which had the advantage over Alliances to seek fun and not power.
This game definitely isn't nearly as fun and great as it use to be and first bad move wasn't GF's but Nevrax imo : introducing large scale PvP and running away from lore's main line : GETTING RID OF KITINS !

want us to give you some outposts or something?

usually works something like this in fair KA land

kami attack
kami attack at stupid time
kami attack
kami attack at stupid time
kara : man am getting bored of these stupid attacks we should kick their asses
kami attack
kami attack at stupid time
kara : ok lets do it
kara attack = kami have 1 less op and complain we are evil
Ah jack you really are full of [ Edited for language - Boroshi ] on the forums mate :)
karavan didnt get to owning the majority of outposts by attacking at times that suited everyone, thats for sure.

Kami wont give up on this server, fact is once we have nothing to lose we'll just cause hell for you, wars every day untill we bore you into submission :)

*looks for where I said karavans attack at suitable times for kami's

*fails

genia -

you take me way to seriously sometimes but still dont try to imply I joined to be on the winning side, I will go over it again, the reason I switched was simply alot of my kami friends had left at the time, quite a few kami guilds were reluctant to assist kami attacks while still expecting us to come defend their outposts. You lot have sorta sorted these problems now but tis too late for me as the KA are soooooooo much more interesting.

on the whole I actually like most of the kami people and back in the day my wife used to complain I loved the kami ppl more than her. took alot to break that hold if you put it into perspective
