IF there had to be a server merge then yes I'd agree Aripostle outposts should take priority. I hope there is never the need for it though.

Only a good thing if the number of Cho players that decide to quit with the merge pay less then the cost of running Cho.

If there had to be a server merge, I think all Outposts should be reset to the bandits. That would be the only fair thing.

In regards to the Arispotle community. What you see here on the forums from the Arispotle big mouths does not completely represent either side (add neutral too). You'll find people from both sides willing to team and be friendly with people from the other side (neutrals, again, generally are..neutral in this). There are the more extreme people on both sides, on the Karavan side: Jayce's and Doubletap's names come to mind.
The normal people are pretty decent though.

I've lived on Cho. Siobhan had her time there. But I hate how boring it is there. For me, I dont find it exciting. There isn't enough PvP there for when I want it. I really dont care for all the constant 'we all love one-another' environment. Really, we were all super nice on Windermeer :) (As far as I was exposed to/saw). I was on Cho recently, and found it fairly empty.

But, from what I hear there are people attempting to get transfered to Cho. (didn't I read this somewhere in the thread)? I dont think I will ever play on Cho again. I find no enjoyment there. All that I can do on Cho, I can do on Aris. But, all the I can do on Aris. I cannot do on Cho. Makes perfect sense really to stick with Aris.

(I probably went way off on a tangent, oops).

you forget new players who might be subscribing, but dont because they ended up to Cho where is low population.

no. not fair at all. not for Arispotle outpost owners who actually have earned them by (multiple) PvP battles.

we will never know, but do you really think that Cho outpost situation would be like it is currently when only true new players and not "bored" / already left / looking for "fresh start" / "like it should of been from launch" players ? (those same who now again are largely unsubscribed (i think, some were active on forums, now they silent) or back to Arispotle full time).

but there is something Cho players could do.... babies.. err, alts and fill their gh's with cats ;-) then when merge comes, you can donate them to community outposts ;-)

I don't know, Ari has been there longer, had more battles and has more players so you could say they are suddenly being punished for Cho needing to be merged. I think if it had to happen (and I hope it never does!) that the outposts stay the way they are on Ari.

A fair point but lets not name names, it's only likely to make people feel they need to defend themselves and turns this thread towards flames.

Fair enough for you Keiko. For me though it is Cho I have much more fun on. The good part of having the two servers, different server atmospheres for people who like different things :)

Actually I didn't. I feel it's impossible to know how much that is happening though. You could say the same for the amount that would quit if the server merged as well but you brought that up so I just pointed out a problem with it ;)

I dont think It's just Aris player. Ashling plays on Cho, and he doesn't seem to think Cho players are deserving of OPs if there was a merger. It is only fair (as it would not be Choians' fault there was a merge, if there ever is) to restart Outposts. It is not hard to kill the tribes when first gaining OPs, although I do seem to recall a frantic rush to get ingame to an OP as soon as servers were up when OPs went live.

Sorry, getting so off topic.

well first I'm a she not a he :)

second I don't think my view on how outposts should be devided in this worst case scenario shows that I think cho players are less deserving then ari players but if a server merge was happening purely because there aren't enough players on Cho to keep it viable then it seems the fairest move to me. If the merge was happening because both servers didn't have enough players then I'd go for reseting the outposts like you sujest.

Also I don't think Mok has that feeling from the little conversation on how outposts should be devided.

*edit* also seeming I said I much prefer cho to ari and in another thread that I haven't played for 1 second on ari since cho opened, saying I think cho players are somehow lesser then ari players seems one amazing leap in logic to me
