“You have to be careful when dealing with some Trykers,” an old Fyros trader was explaining to the younger Fyros seated next to him.

“What do you mean?” the younger one asked with the casual disinterested that conveyed the idea that he was much more interested in what he was drinking.

Unaffected, the elder homin continued, “Well, you know the Tryker guild that calls themselves Nexus? The same bunch who have loudly been proclaiming that the Lakelands are for the Tryker…or some such?
“Well, it would seem that they drove another Tryker guild, The Guardians of Jena, I think, from the outpost in Loria.”

“Good for them,” said the younger one, motioning the bartender to refill his mug, “The more Karavaneers get harassed, the better.”

“Quite,” replied the trader, “but Nexus is, or at least was, devoted to the Karavan. It seems their religious loyalties change as easily as their racial ones.”

“Perhaps they simply want an easy route to power,” the younger Fyros said.

“Well, obviously,” said the elder, “And have you heard the latest news? Those old Fyros stalwarts, The Soul? You know, the ones who control the Vedice supply? Well, it seems Nexus allowed them to march in and take the Whirling outpost in Loria. In exchange, Nexus moved into Flaming Forest, and now controls the Vedice Sap.”

The young homin put down his mug, and looked incredulously at the Fyros next to him. “You mean The Soul traded their nearly unassailable position in the Flaming Forest for an untenable and less valuable spot in the Lakelands? The Guardians of Jena will want the outpost back. I have seen Whirling; it is a hard spot to defend. Are The Soul really counting on the loyalty of a guild who has proven their deceit in the past?”

“Now you understand,” the trader said, sagely, “It would seem this is the first strike in a wider Tryker campaign. The Soul has been baited out of their stronghold in the desert, and they will be at a disadvantage when the Guardians of Jena attempt to take Loria back.
“And should The Soul loose? Do you honestly believe that Nexus will magnanimously surrender the Vedice sap? I am telling you, this was a planned move. The Tryker are invading the desert, and The Soul has been set up for a fall.”

“Wretched Trykers,” the younger Fyros said after finishing the contents of his mug.

We can all make up lies, want to back up your claim that the tryker are now somehow evil because some of them want to be free from the karavan alliance's leadership?

“Well, obviously,” said the elder, “And have you heard the latest news? Those old Fyros stalwarts, The Soul? You know, the ones who control the Vedice supply? Well, it seems Nexus allowed them to march in and take the Whirling outpost in Loria. In exchange, Nexus moved into Flaming Forest, and now controls the Vedice Sap."

Tell me, whats wrong with that? Let me guess the karavan have never done this? I dont think its a good tactic, but if you expect the kami to lie down while all our outposts are taken you are very much mistaken, the day the CSR tell us we are not allowed to do it, then we will stop.

"The Tryker are invading the desert, and The Soul has been set up for a fall.”

first off LOL, oh my god, a tryker guild have an outpost in the desert how can they! Thats outragous! Oh wait, matis guilds own two Q250 outposts in the jungle, they own one Q250 outpost in the desert, get a grip.
The soul are not so stupid as to be tricked into anything, and its none of your buisness to be perfectly honest.

Very nice propoganda hiden in the "RP" but get your facts straight and stop hidding behind your account name, at least let people know who you are

*A young Tryker picks up the scrap of paper and reads it to his friend*
-Something doesn't sound quite right about that...

-Of course not, and I know exactly why.

*Second Tryker takes out citizenship papers and reads a small passage from "Being a Tryker"
- Right here, ahem "Fyros: The Fyros were once allies who exploited our need for protection by having us supply Fyros towns with merchandise at low cost. Since we've learnt to fight for ourselves we no longer need the patronizing Fyros protectors, especially with the new feeling of fraternity with the Matis."

- It sounds like we're doomed to repeat some past mistakes....

It seems we all care a little bit too much on what started the lore, who did what to who, a long long time ago, and what the situation was back then. Isn't this meant to be an evolving planet, with us homins carrying on the storyline ourselves. Making new alliances, new rules and new ways to live our lives in this beautifal place.

Take your head out of the past, if you continue to always look back, there will never be a way forward. This is our planet now, and what happened back then should probably stay, back then.

A matis makes a note of kami politics, ''if the rule doesn't work... rewrite it..., then blame the karavan so the rest of the Kami don't notice the hipocracy''

See AAAAAAAAjolea knows how it works, you should be in politics...or are you already O_o.

Kodel.

Edit, i made a mistake on 'politics'...i think that was it though :p . I am not one to troll or flame much, but when someone says something ignorant, I usually reply in kind, because this is all these people understand. Anything meaningful or well thought out would only be wasted on them.

As my father sometimes said, "in writing the future, we should always remember the past." He rarely said very much, but what he did say always seemed to bear more weight for it. I guess I take more after my mother. *smiles* :)

I truly don't see the need for the karavan to be on their high horse about any of this. Saying 'oh please stop harassing' us, you evil, evil kami. When we all know full and well, if the shoe was on the other foot (and it has been) the karavan has done the exact same thing, in the exact same way. In fact it may have been the karavan (while I was one) who started it. Accusations of underhanded tactics, cheating, being generally a pain in the ass, is hypocrisy in it's highest form IMHO. It's very easy to play the picked upon when you own so much and have no need of offensive tactics. So lets stop this sort of talk right here, it's just nonsense and you well know it (Mrshad).
