On the healing bug, we are working on a fix, but it might still take some time. I keep you posted.
I would have to voice my concerns on reinstating the Honor point system, not because of the controversy it caused during Episode 2, but because it fits as a reward for events and accomplishments. Currently FvF fights have 0 accomplishment, just being a 'fun' way of passing time by partaking in Faction PvP. Without accomplishments I fail to see the point to getting rewarded with something that otherwise wouldn't have been accesible.
Plus, the only time Honor points became accesible after the end of Episode 2 was due to a patch that 'broke' the restrictions; it wasn't intended to be. People ofcourse took advantage of that and suddenly got access again to cheap event items player crafters have little chance to recreate.
Have such a comparable event as Episode 2 with Honor point rewards, fine.
Publish Spires live and then open up the Honor point system as a reward for Spire battles, fine.
But just reinstating it? Hell, I'd want a Karavan Champion and Elder of Atys title (including the fbt emote) or the old Event items as well then.
The healing problem, that I'd like to see fixed. There's been so many people complaining about it ain't funny.

You rawk
As for the rest of you, I would LOVE it if they found a way to remove the PR gank part of honor points.
If you are digging with your tag on its a completely different story imho.
Oh god.....stop living in the teletubbies world... PR are PVP areas, that simply means you take the risk to die because you are there...wathever you are doing !!!
PR are supposed to be a harder place to collect mats (PVP area, mobs with higher HP and kitin patrols), that's why the sups are there and not in each lands.(look at supernodes, SN are not for the best diggers or strong enough to stay alive, they are just for who is online and who is not...)
Today, and because of this...agreement on no gankers in PR, and because of kitins patrol on holidays, every guild has several 250 PR diggers, everyone is black or white dressed (sup of course), and digging in PR is as easy as a guild hunt on Ora.
When i was younger, PR were a nightmare for me, heart was beating stronger after each /who or orange spot on radar... nowadays, PR are just the 5th land.
Well, for me it will stay the prime roots, dangerous area. Kitins are on holidays, i hope the bad gankers are not.

I have a suggestion
Remove the "faction" tag and give us some nice body tattoos instead
The hardcore Jenait's And Kamists will wear them proudly on bear chest (hmm breasts
)
Then say the only tag that remains (former FvF tag) is a PvP tag and shhows nothing more but your desire to PvP
How's that?

cureently anyone that has been on the main land for at least a month knows who is karavan and who is kami just by the guild they are in. i dont see the big point in needing a way to express what faction you are.
so please wake up and relize if you have your faction tag on you are opening yourself up to PvP, just like the warning says when you click the double sword icon up by your name.
also on another note i hear a bit of the time how PvPers ruin the amount of fun someone else is having in the game when they are killed for having their faction/PvP tag on. how about those people that complain and moan relize they are ruining the fun for those that PvP...

PR is PvP ? when did that happen
only 2 q200 and 2 q150 regions are GvG/PvP (they all in one zone, supernodes there aswell in 2 small areas)
... and then theres nexus (gvg/pvp), which is actually forest mats with pr resource rules/placement.
so, stop scaring the kids

A note to Phelan:
Thanks for the response.
We are only requesting that consenting faction tagged players get Honor points from killing each other. Things like honor points from killing people in PVP zones are what might be controversial.

What would be the reason for the factions to hand out rewards for running around and fighting just for fun. How does meaningless PvP aid the Kami or the Karavan?
Many of us enjoy Ryzom because the game makes sense and it has a story. The factions do things for a reason. A reason that goes beyond basic hack/dig/craft grind sinks. They are a culture, it is this culture that makes Ryzom different from the rest.
Changing things to Make faction PvP a new grind skill that has no redeeming factor (does not aid anyone in anyway) would totally destroy the philosophical backbone that makes this a 'living' world. If the factions just become an automated reward and mission giving tool, then what makes Ryzom different?
I am not against faction rewards, I am strongly opposed to the factions actively encouraging and rewarding pointless skirmishes and becoming nothing more then new grind farms. This was only asked for in hopes of circumventing the established community. If it becomes possible to get phat loot from the factions, the player community would become irrelevant and Ryzom would be one step closer to PK paradise.
Meaningless fighting makes for a meaningless game. This is a stupid, stupid idea.
Again, give us something new. Do not change the game, add to it.
