*cries for another 4 hours*
I just hope that they know what they are getting themselves into.
Ryzom has been known for having such a great community of people. INCLUDING our CSRs. Without them, it will be hard to keep such a great reputation.

I'm sorry for all my favorite CSRs. We all love and appreciate you.

(jay happy b-day :P , i have a prezzy for you)

We were testing, to see our options.
The new datacenter has a 20ms ping to London, mithur, can u send me a trace via PN?

The long lasting plan..
well, we still don't know the game good enough to give you the projects for a year in advance. Here is what we are working on right now though:
A smaller client.
The economy of the game
the range combat
(no promises for fast solutions though especially on the economy we haven't got "the" idea yet)
We are still working on statistics, so we can see whether one step we take is a success or not.

Feel free to get around to the real answers any time now... ;)

Sorry I'm being short, but it feels like we're being pooped on from a great height here...

Thanks for that bit of information Phelan. I think most of us prefer you take time before deciding on anything big (like the economy) as a fast decission on something that complex is unlikely to be the correct decission but even a little bit of info on what your looking at and why and what the goal of looking at it is would go a long way.

Also we'd really like some info on your plans for how you'll organise and work Customer Support and Events without Jolt. We might not like some of the answers but knowing what they are is better then wondering and fearing what they might be.

Ok, Ok so I am on abit of a break atm but nevertheless putting gameplay aside it was the openess and Honesty of Nevrax and the promt n helpfull response of the csr team that was a breath of fresh air when I first came to Atys.

Economics are of course a valid and paramount consideration but not the only one, and the phrase "if it aint broke, dont fix it" springs to mind.

In reply to what you just posted phelan, let me just say I wish You find it in your heart to look less at statistics and more to the heart of the community here on Ryzom.

I urge you, no I go down on my knees and beg, organize a meeting and invite all players to attend, and do it soon. This event is shaking the very pillars which made me and others join the game to begin with.

In all fairness you say you say yourself you don't know the game well enough to plan very far ahead, so tell the players that, but also give them a peek of your vision, because without a vision we're all doomed.

I say hold a meeting, on Klients or IRC, and talk to the community as a whole, not in this little thread.

Noob here. Why is everyone getting so worried? Some people saying they will leave, the game has been ruined, isn't as good.
