It's the team's who killed the four the job of chasing the survivor and kill him, I guess.
I'd rather find a way to stop everybody clutch at the portal and wait the finders to ambush. Nexus was not the theatre of too much fight because of this. Maybe set marshalls in 2 more spots in nexus to spread out the ambushing teams?
Indeed, I think that this was one of the flaws with the event set-up. Maybe the bride should have had instructions to follow the leader, unless the leader is down, in which case, follow the next homin in the teamlist, until all are dead.
And before anyone else criticises me, this was all done in the heat of the chase and was certainly not an attempt at cheating. After all, if the bride had been killed, by aggro, our team would have been eliminated.
Ohh and as far as I can see, there is nothing in the rules about the team being together. If anything else, rule 6:
6.Only when a "Rescue Team" is eliminated can the bride leave Rescue Team. (This means all members of the team in region with the Bride must be eliminated).
implies that I could have gone anywhere in the region legitimately. I went nowhere near anyother area of the Lands of Umbra, let alone into another area all together.
Despite the minor problems with implementation, it was still a fun event and I managed to dig off the DP without much hassle

I wasn't really criticizing you Zok, It is just something that needs to be fixed in the next event, If me and Sunce hadn't protected Wanda and beau, they would have both been killed by kincher... While you were atleast 100m away at that time(Maybe more, I know I stopped chasing you after about 50m to go back and help Sun)being chased by lewy and Hersh

.

*I* was criticising him. Simple as that.
Second, he was far more then 100m.
He was more then 400m actually.
Third, they would be even MORE dead if they followed you Zok so dont even think about using that arguement that THEY COULD HAVE FOLLOWED ME. Because you had a HUGE train of kinchers after you.

I don't see any reason to bicker here. Everyone played nice. The Kings of Oblivion were great heroes to save Wandaxia from the kinchers at their cost. We did mention that the Bride could call for a new rescue team if she was abandoned but she wasn't alone long enough for that to been an issue. Next time we may design some better rules. It's hard to cover all potential issues. Also some of the event team was Please Waited at times, one member crashed as a few times well.

great event i must say had loads of fun pulling aggro and nuking teams ...
Well, Lewy might not have dragged that lot, Zok didn't really notice where they came from

But Zok did see him arriving at least once with aggro in tow

Actually Zok don't really mind that (just for this sort of event, of course), but the question is would my train of 3/4 more kinchers have been enough to overwhelm even the mighty KoO, if Zok had stayed. As has been said, Zok was already nearly down and out; staying to be slain by kitins wasn't in my job description.
Having looked at the rules again, there is mention that if the bride was left alone for too long, she was to shout "HELP!!!". I don't think that Zok left for too long, hence Zok feels no guilt.

No ofcourse, running MINIMUM 400meters off and staying there for at least 3+ minutes (which is about the time you CAN be away before your team auto respawn btw) is not nearly too long is it now? or long enough for the bride to die.
I dont fancy a ban, so il say it nice.
Im looking forward to meeting you in PR Zok.
