MANY of us OLDER player's BETA tested a game that had more/less than we have now. We PAID (Pre-Delivery costs included) for our box and were excited for the release (no matter which server we played on).
Yea, pretty much explains my point for me. You guys bought a game, got lots of play time out of it...well before anyone got their first free DL of the client. $50 for a game that you played for two years and sunk many many hours into presumably. No one forced you guys to come 2 years before I and many others did. I would imagine that it couldn't have been all that unsatisfactory, or else what are you still doing here?
I'd presume you had at least some fun along the way, you may disagree, but 2 years with a game that got me to stay subscribed the whole(or majority of the) time is worth $50 to me.
Yes, over time, prices tend to drop on just about anything. Its a way of life, anything that is a part of an industry that is constantly moving forward, such as online gaming has to adjust pricing to compensate for demand. What was worth gold 4 years ago might not be worth spit today, thats just the way of the world friend. If this is something that somehow alluded you, i suggest taking an economics class.

We have all seen many like you that talk alot in forums but are MINISCULE IG
Yea, i play on Cho, that would make me "miniscule" on aris, thats how separate servers work friend. If you, like many others, choose to not acknowledge another server thats not your own, thats your choice. All it serves is to make Aris the server for old members, and Cho the one where newer ones feel welcome, which i don't think will be good for your server in the long run. Me, i'd personally take helping a new player learn the game anyday of the week over choosing to take any opening to puff my chest and inflate my own ego to drive them all away, but thats just me.
I happen to have no qualms against Aris either way, nor do i think that someone who doesnt have an alt. on my server is a "noob" or has no effect in game. The same could be said about yourself and your lack of presense on Cho friend. If you'd like to you are more than welcome to join us over on our little end of ryzom and see how the other half lives.
~edit~
p.s. If however, you actually
WERE forced against your will to sign up for the beta test, stay for its entirety, play for two years, and pay the $50, then please disregard this post. I just HATE when video game companies do that to people...bad nevrax...bad BAD nevrax!! *slay13 slaps the now defunct nevrax on its hand*
I'll call the police and they'll be there to help you momentarily friend!! *slay13 hurries to his phone*
