Thanks for the answer.

Maybe the idea that aggro dragging might be acceptable starts here:

Point 8 [world GvG]: wouldn't this mean that an attacking force could simply use some sort of kamikaze-strategy? Example: Attackers stand and wait or just run and hide somewhere far from the outpost while one elected homin of their team goes to nearest group of mean aggro-mobs, uses invul and drags them to the camp. If this dont kill the defence Im sure its a pretty good way of weakening them... or even so, if the attacking force would close in while the aggros are in the outpost, but stand far enough away not to get the aggro and then start nuking the defence... I hope they make this forbidden. [Submitted by jinnear (EN)]
Sure, the attackers could use this strategy, but the defenders too. And as the NPCs themselves won't be aggro by mobs, there would still be some work to do...

But I'm glad, that the official position changed so far.

Ehm... and since when is using my phrases against Souls a valid argument?? *LOL*

And I didn´t call people stupid (just idiots), just their method of provoking a battle.
They could have just as easily pranced around Yrkanis shouting "KING YRKANIS WEARS HIS UNDIES OVER HIS OUTIES",
if they were looking for a fight.
Would´ve had the same result as killing AFKers, don´t you think?
And would´ve been much more stylish IMHO. :D

Agro dragging (on purpose) is against the CoC, pretty simple really. :p

I remember that agro dragging was explicitly allowed during Ep2 in the 'Old lands' .

Lots of things are. That argument never seems to get anywhere though.

And yes, the old lands were PvP with no alternative and little respect from the pro-PvPers for those who didn't want to do it, effectively refusing to share the content.

Previous to this statement aggro dragging was, several times, explicitly stated as being an allowable 'tactic'. I'm glad it no longer is.

...as it was a race/war between the factions to construct the temples pvp was logical.

Pvping amongst ourselves for the materials, but letting the 'special' people dig undisturbed doesnt make a hell of a lot of sense however.

So basically you came into a zone you were already unhappy with because 'they were pvp with no alternative', and then whinge and troll and flame those who are enjoying what it was intended for.....

and you accuse us of having little respect.

Ah! Good old EP2!
A period where I got to repeatedly kill my old pal, Jyudy... :D
Where there was no place for fear or heal enchants...
But instead the most powerfull nuke you could fit on your amp...
Just incase the diggers got lucky and resisted the first shot & tried to speed run away...
Those were the days!

Still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ;)
